I hate the wordmark on the sleeves and the lack of white on the stipes. Other than that the Lions turned out ok.

I think the Lions downgraded.

The wordmarks on the sleeves are trash. The gray jersey is pointless. And losing black makes the look a little washed out since they are doing a lot of blue/gray without even white in there. There was pretty much nothing wrong with their previous look but $$$.

The Browns current jerseys have some simple fixes that can make them bearable as mentioned elsewhere. Personally, I'd also ban some combos of pants/jerseys, pretty much anything where it's all brown and orange looks bad. Our orange jersey on white pants is our best look, since the stripes match the helmet.

Although, I saw this sick concept mocked up the other day:

Seriously, we had a perfect classic look. A lot of people wanted the orange pants or jersey back, but even that didn't look as clean to me. These uniforms were gorgeous and connected our players to Jim Brown whereas our franchise technically doesn't. It sucks that we ended up sucking in them but now we have a great history of playing like ass in the new unis too. Also, fuck brown pants and I'm cool with whatever color facemask.

I hear ya. That said, it matters (to a degree) to the players and it matters to the majority of fans who buy the gear.

If they stick with the current jerseys and only make some minor tweaks, these are the changes I would like to see :
1. Remove the "browns" off the leg and make it a full stripe
2. Change the orange numbers on the Brown jersey to white numbers.
3. Maybe change the helmet color or finish.


I really think the white and orange jerseys are fine. I could see them removing the drop shadow or whatever it's called, but I don't see a drastic change.

I'm not afraid of change, I just think we had a perfect look and botched the redesign. The second best option would be making those adjustments (dropping Browns from the leg, fixing the shoulder stripes, swapping colors on numbers, ditching that shit stitching, etc.), for a clean and updated look. But I personally feel like we looked fucking great before and threw away a beautiful piece of tradition for trash... Or at least something underwhelming.

Frankly, our jerseys were the last thing going for this nightmare organization and we threw away the only part of our identity we had left. Well, they kept the helmets at least.
