The wine unis are legitimately up there for worst in the league. The whites though? Slick as hell. Love em. The black unis are pretty good too if you can get past the weird logo/number lineup.
 
Our wine jerseys suck absolute ass. The navy lettering on a wine backdrop is just pure garbage.

The white jerseys are slick, and I do enjoy the black jerseys as well. Wasn't a huge fan of our "The Land" jerseys last year, but I'm pretty sure they were a one-year thing.
 
Really how hard is it to design exceptional uniforms...Cavs and Browns unis absolutely suck....nike should be fired...I've seen way better mock ups on this forum

Slight modification to the jerseys this year-- there's a thicker gold outline around the numbers. Hope this helps because I had a really hard time reading the numbers on both the wine and black uniforms last year.

Good catch! It's a nice minor tweak since the navy numbers were probably the worst element of this jersey, but our whole set remains inoffensive yet underwhelming.

I would also consider myself a jersey nerd and Nike has been horrendous for the NBA. I've probably stated this in here already, but their template forces traditional teams to neuter their looks and the whole "every team has four jerseys with a different name and 1-2 will change every year while we rebrand too many teams constantly" leaves most of the league a muddled mess branding wise.

The work they've been doing in the NFL sucks too. Look at teams like the Titans, Jaguars, and Seahawks where (whether you like the overall design or not) they've basically used the set as a way to showcase the Swoosh. They clearly put Nike branding above the identity of the team itself and the results are a mess.

I feel like I am the only one who hates the Seahawks uniform. Wayyyyy too busy and convoluted.

A lot of people agree with you. Personally, I like the overall look but there are some detail issues I have with it. It's modernness makes the monochrome look work which I rarely like.
 
So, based on this leaked color palette of NBA alternate uniforms for this season, it appears as though the Cavs are going to have royal blue and powder blue alternates for 2018-19. I'm both excited and horrified to see what the hell they look like. Also, it looks like the 16 playoff teams from last season were the ones given that second alternate look ("Earned" jerseys).

Getting really close to the season starting. Are there really no leaks of the new jerseys yet?
 
One of them supposedly being an all powder blue 1997 style jersey. We’ll see though.

The navy lettering is what kills the wine jersey.
It's hard for me to visually look at the mistakes they make on color coordination .
I'm a artist so when I look at uniforms and they have glaring errors on the design/color scheme, it drives me nuts.

Technically, the Warriors stole them from the Akron Wingfoots.

I think it would be a cool throw back to add to the arsenal.
