I'm not sure how accurate that is. This logo features a guy with a gray facemask, but the Browns literally transitioned to a brown facemask in 2015. I know some people don't notice that stuff, but when part of the new uniform shtick is brown facemasks it would be silly to release a brand new logo with the wrong color facemask.

Think you're referring to the 75th anniversary logo in Baker's last season? That was a 1 year logo whereas the design above seemingly would've been the primary logo going forward.

In any case, if you look at the artist's Instagram post, he has what looks like 100 or so variations of that logo that he prepared. In fact, in that tweet from Brad, the logo on the merch and field had the dark brown facemask. I think it's legitimate and I'm very happy that logo was scrapped.
