Didn’t Sansa explicitly state that North was its own nation, a clear mention of what basically happened before Aegon Targaryon basically formed the 7 kingdoms?

They weren’t the only independent kingdom before Aegon came. And Dorne was never even conquered by Aegon. So why would a place like that be cool with the Starks getting their own kingdom while they have to be ruled by Bran Stark?

That’s all good and well but everything in your post is speculation. The show did not do the legwork to demonstrate why the lords and ladies of powerful houses would be content being ruled by a Stark boy while his sister gets to have her own independent kingdom that they don’t get to have.

I'm not even sure anyone else has armies at this point. The iron islands have like 3 ships left. Sansa says the north army is outside the city.

Grey Worm is in charge of the unsullied and the Dothraki. Maybe it was more about just having peace then letting a foreign army fight the north and decide to kill off whoever is left.

No one seem to give a shit that Grey Worm says King's landing is theirs now. Grey Worm seems like the one with the most power at that moment. They just agree because Grey Worm wants someone to tell him what to do.

We have no clue how big the north army is compared to the unsullied and dothraki. I'm guessing they are the two biggest armies in Westeros at this point.

This is a fair and reasonable point. It’s a legitimately plausible explanation. I just think the show should have at least had some character object and have Sansa or someone else explain that only the Starks have an army.

It just felt a little bit too much like blatant fan-service to me to give the audience’s favorite family control of the other six kingdoms and their own independent kingdom.

I agree it's oversight to have us try to make assumptions when they just needed to add one line here and there for things to fall into place.

Yeah, I think we can officially retire this one now and move over to the other one permanently.

Gimme some feedback if everyone feels this way and if so I think I can merge the threads Or close this one and just keep the other one live.

If I don’t hear any objections in the next hour or two I’ll just close this one

Should just lock this one. Any discussion can then simply continue in the other one. No real need for separate threads now that the show is done and book spoilers are no longer an issue for non-readers.
