I really think it's that beat + Kendrick's verse that really drive the vibe of that song. Have not heard another one of his songs that come close. And his features haven't been great.

I really liked Birds in the Trap, but I agree his new album is pretty mediocre.

There's a few songs I like, rest is pretty blah. Some cool production though.

Astroworld grew on me a bit.

The songs start to catch and it's the vibe more than anything. A few of those songs have gotten to my main play list

I used to be really into hip-hop and used to find all the undergroung gems back in the day. Now, honestly i'm more into other genres..I got soft.

I can't remember most of the artists I used to love, though there are a few I remember and can share.
