OFFICIAL RCF FANTASY SEASON THREAD

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Gladiators are being held together by bandages and tape. We've been doing it with smoke and mirrors the last month since the injury bug hit....not sure we have enough left in the tank.

I got a bad feeling about this one...

I had forgotten to check the winner this morning. CCF prevails! Sucks that we were tied going into the last evening and some of our stars did not even play (I had to put Dwight Howard on the bench in fear he would not dress).

Where's my trophy?

Holy shit, I had 3 DNP's....pussies. My coach and trainers have been fired.

If we can, next year we should end the league a week or two earlier to prevent this gheyness of players sitting out the final week...that's if I'm invited back. :chuckles:

Congrats CCF!

In other positive news, I won the consolation round!!! It was an exciting run, considering that out of each of my opponents exactly ZERO of them adjusted their rosters during my cinderella run.

In even more exciting news, I won the other league I played in under the name Scrotum. Appropriately I beat an opponent named Taint Protectors, which once again resulted in the scrotum on top of the taint.

This was, without question, the most competitive fantasy league I've ever played in. In my other league, I'd usually fly out to a big lead and put it on cruise control in the spring. I learned a lot this season.

Like I told Kypus earlier, its a lot of luck and good health. Manu Ginobli and Gerald Wallace were the only guys with significant injuries. Was definitely a competitive league. Props to all.

Congrats on the win CCF. I managed to swipe 3rd place hooray! And I won the roto league I was in with Narls and I don't know who else from here :/ A somewhat successful year. Sorry about being a douche earlier in the season.

Well, it's time for Chi Cavs to get his fantasy league trophy... We'll get Glen on that...

Well deserved...

Ugh- that trade totally killed me...I went from 2nd place during the 1st 2 months to 11th place. Camby and Oden both go hurt and cancelled each other but Salmons, he's a solid percentages guy. Very underrated too.

Dropping Jason Thompson for Tyson Chandler ended up poking my pooper as well. That is the last time I surf the waiver wire after coming home from a bar.

My biggest mistake was not really researching a strategy for the end of the season. Some of my best players ended up on the shelf because of minor injuries, but I never jumped on the transactions like everyone else. Again, this was a nice learning year for me.

Just imagine if I'd have accepted your original Marquis Daniels offer. :chuckles:

Statistics wise, I had the feeling that trade would actually pan out perfectly for both of us. I was giving up on trying to compete with blocks and rebounds and trying to focus on pts, fg's, fg% and the scoring categories. You were trying to take rebs and blocks to the next level.

The x-factor was Camby's injury history. Cause I bet otherwise people looking at that trade thought I was a moron. Two years in a row in my fantasy leagues I have traded Camby at his apex and he has gotten injured within 10 or less games. Still didn't stop me from finishing in the exact middle of the league like a loser.

Lessons learned for all of us I guess.
