If not for the injury, he was looking like a potential top 10-15 pick.

Everyone thought Jaylon Smith would fall out of the top 3 rounds last year with that knee injury, and he went at the top of the 2nd. Perhaps teams aren't as worried about a redshirt year as we are, as long as their medical staffs think the injury will be fully recovered from.

Smith is a bad example though because with the nerve damage, he's looking like he'll never play in the NFL.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Sidney Jones go way earlier than we expect in the real draft. It only takes one team who's comfortable with the medicals and is willing to wait a year.

The Seahawks need o-line help BAD. Versatile lineman who could play anywhere besides left tackle due to arm length. Has good balance and technique. Good athlete who is able to get to the second level on run plays. Played well against tough competition (LSU & Bama).
