This just isn't acceptable. We need Phil Handy to start cussing these guys out again.
 
The team will have to decide who isn't going to be in the playoff rotation bar some niche moments. It seems to be a fight between Shump and DWill with Derrick Williams out of it. Should they go with playmaking so LeBron doesn't have to do that or go with Shump for defense?

The second unit of DWill/Korver/Jefferson/LBJ/Frye doesn't look promising defensively. The only second unit that has been successful defensively is the "jumbo" lineup of Korver/Derrick Williams/Jefferson/LBJ/Frye. Does that leave DWill out of the rotation? We lose playmaking, but we gain defense theoretically with DWill out and the jumbo lineup in.

We could go with Shump/Korver/Jefferson/LBJ/Frye for more defense albeit less playmaking. Shump has played well in the second units led by LeBron the last two seasons.

Right now the only A game we seem to have is bombing threes and hoping opponents miss open shots.

Frye has to be out of our playoff rotation right now, IMO. Just isn't cutting the mustard anymore. Guy is beyond a negative on defense this year...looks like he doesn't even know how basketball works on that end of the floor.

And I would like to see situation benches used based on the opponent. One opponent you can play the jumbo lineup heavily against, the other a more traditional lineup against. That kind of thing...we have the pieces to match-up with teams, if we wanted.

Just, anything where Frye is out of the rotation and only sees the floor under certain circumstances.

If Frye is out...who is in? He's the only big guy we've got. Gonna play Derrick Williams extended minutes at the 5?

I guess, if Frye isn't playing the 5, who is?

For all the talk of Frye being a 5, the thing is he does nothing a 5 is expected to do. He doesn't box out or grab rebounds, neither does he offer any sort of rim-protection or defense. He is just tall but doesn't have any traits of a big man at all.

Just go with a super-small line-up of LeBron - Derrick/RJ - Korver - Shump - Deron.

Try something new instead of the same old shit.

Rather play Kevin at the 5. LeBron plays the 4 in the playoffs, so just have your Cs be Tristan and Love. Sub Love middle of the 1st, have him out there with LeBron to open the 2nd.

Rather have Felder playing C than Frye right now.

Man that's a small rotation to have the entire playoffs.

This is our only answer at this point, assuming Sanders isn't ready for the playoffs.
