We should be all over bledsoe. He may be an overrated defender but he’s still good for a PG. IT rose and Calderon are horrible and unreliable. Bleadsoe may be the only one who can play against the warriors without being a liability.

Shumps alone is not enough and Rose/Calderon/Green/Wade can not be dealt until December 15th.

Dount PHX would take both Shump AND Frye so we'd likely have to include Cedi or Zicic if we wanted to make it work from a salary match standpoint

Makes it seem unlikely but with Bledsoe being a Klutch client, you never know

That's a given but how do you spread the minutes if you have IT, Rose, Bledsoe, JR, Wade, and Korver over the PG and SG positions with 6-10 available at SF when LeBron rests. That's assumes we trade Shump to get Bledsoe. It's 108 minutes at most split between 6 players, or less than 20 minutes a game. IT, Rose, and Bledsoe aren't the tallest guards either so we would have a tiny backcourt for stretches.

You will have multiple teams offering some sort of pick or young player. And you're going to trade him for two stiff who make $4M more combined than Bledsoe?

If you expect them to take on both Shump and Frye, what else are you giving them to actually make them take it seriously.

Same, but that's what happens when both your 1st string and 2nd string PG are out. Come December, this shouldn't be anything we have to worry about again.

I think Calderon, especially after getting his feet wet, with JR back in the lineup, and with the team putting up an actual effort will look/play better in these next two games.

Going to be interesting to see where Bledsoe goes. Won't be here despite it being a fun idea.

If the Suns want to flip Dudley for Shump, I'd take that immediately though.

Mostly because Shump gives me high blood pressure.

I’d be curious what other teams would offer. Denver needs a PG but there’s no way they’d offer their first unless it was heavily protected. But at that point our unprotected first would be better. Clipper could use him but the most they could offer is Austin rivers. Which isn’t very enticing. New Orleans doesn’t have anything to offer. I just don’t see another team who needs a PG willing to give up a first. Because those teams that need one are near the lottery. And they aren’t giving up potential lottery pick to get a 3rd tier starting PG.

It wouldn't take much of an asset to top Shump/Frye by themselves, but I'd guess that there are some teams out there willing to do top20 protected picks, which have been pretty common in trades over the past 4-5 years.

Could also be a young player. Would Denver trade someone like Trey Lyles for example. Would OKC continue their all in approach and find a way.

Would the Bucks deal a protected 1st or someone like Rashad Vaughn(2015 1st) or DJ Wilson(2017 1st)

Jose will look better moving forward, I agree. He may never be great, but he'll be better than he is now. He can still shoot 3s.

Consider this: LeBron was quoted as saying that the Magic game was the first time at any point during camp, preseason or the regular season that he had shared the floor with Jose. Why the hell thats the case is another question (ask Lue lol) - when we have major injury concerns at PG and knew it was likely that we'd need Jose at some point - but it does help to explain the absolute dumpster water that we saw against Orlando.

I would trade Shump/Frye/Cedi for Bledsoe easy. I would also love Shump/Frye/Cedi/Clev 1st Pick for Bledsoe/Chandler. If they are hellbent on saving the Nets pick, use Cedi/Zizic/Clev 1st as trade chips.
