Open Discussion (Cavs + related issues)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
To me averaging 37% from 3 on a non-Lebron team over an extended period shows you are a legit NBA long distance shooter and will probably shoot 40% playing with Lebron.

Delly was never a really good player in isolation but he was a very good role player for us because he A) played good, energetic defense and was switchable B) faciliated the offense in a calm and trustworthy manner (look at his A-T ratio with us), and C) hit open 3s. Turns out it's not so easy to find even a spare bench player like that.

To be clear, I don't think he sucks - he's useful, especially to the Cavs for the reasons you pointed out. I've posted time and time again that the Cavs made a mistake letting him go. I just don't think he has been particularly good since he left the Cavs, which makes me wonder how good he really is in a vacuum. I also wonder, when people call for trading for Delly, what exactly his role on the team would be this year when the Cavs have two better point guards (IT and Wade) already on the roster (not to mention Rose and Calderon, who are going to struggle to get minutes with everyone healthy).

Wait. Did McMenamin really say they held a film session that showed they need to play harder? It is clearly showing :cha (40):

This part won’t get reported publicly but Lue tore LeBron up in this session and challenged him personally to anchor the D. Same way he did earlier in the year when Bron was seemingly playing the wrong defensive scheme on purpose.

I think the Raps might be in for an ass beating especially with Ibaka and Lowry out.

Nailed it...

I want a high draft pick and a prospect for Love/Cousins if we decide to trade him. Crowder should be on the block for sure.

I'm giving IT time still. But damn, It looks depressing.

I think as far as motivation goes, coaches have a short shelf life in the NBA before players just tune them out. Calling out LeBron in the film sessions may work the first couple times, but eventually it’ll stop working.

That’s why Popovich has to be the best coach of all time for my money...he’s the only coach I’ve seen where the players didn’t just eventually tune him out.

time to sit everybody finishthe game with the bench...is Zizic even suited up?

They've got waaaaayyyyy more problems than just trying to integrate IT and TT. I don't think that new schemes will make a change for this team. Bad personnel, poor effort, getting old, guys who may never be the same post-injury, guys who ceased playing well last year. I guess they won their one chip, so complacency has set in.

Totally agree. Pop has had different personnel through the years, but has always maximized everything he's had to work with. I don't think there's another coach who holds a candle to him. He's the most analytic, disciplined, strategically brilliant coach of all-time. Lue, meanwhile, is mediocre at best. I think a lot of the blame for the Cavs' woes can go directly on him. No lineup changes, no accountability, no breaking down what needs to be changed. Pop would be verbally assassinating his players from the sidelines if they were giving the kind of effort the Cavs have as of late.

We're done, let's face it. We got our championship, a great win in dramatic fashion. The parade and all, sunny day, it was super.

Cats(Cavs) make me want do shit. I literally want to just rob a bank right now, or atlas(Atleast) a grocery store.

Time to clean the joint. Who's first?

Edit:Just realised my Autocorrect is fucking my posts too.
