OSU/Purdue emergency thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So, no one on the entire team can break a tackle? Like, no one? We made Purdue look like the most sound, fundamental tackling team in history.

No one with any creativity. No one running hard to get through a tackle.

And finally, LOL at putting anything on Haskins. As if there aren't countless examples of teams figuring out how to run the ball w/o a running QB. Line is abysmal and our running backs aren't running very hard.

The way they have approached the running game has been horrible. It's not like they have to go look at other teams to figure out how to run the ball, they just have to look at game tape from 2013-2014. We have two really good RBs that never see the field together and they switch off each series. The hybrids aren't running threats, they are basically pure receivers. We don't use Demario McCall at all.

The team pretty much gave up at 35-13. Allowed the game to Iowa-ize.

You’re not winning any football game when you force your QB to throw the ball 73 fucking times. It’s just too damn easy to defend a team that is one dimensional.

Also, they just looked uninspired and lazy last night. When was the last time a team like Bama or even Clemson had performances like we saw last night? Last year against Iowa? There might be one team in the entire country that can compete with OSU athlete for athlete. The coaching staff should be ashamed of themselves. No reason that should happen. If you can’t get your guys up for a game, get someone in there that can.

Woke up to see Greg Schiano still earns public dollars.

Alabama like recruiting, Penn State like results, as someone said. Maybe overly dramatic, but not insanely so.

That is what I mean, Rondale is that type of special. Next year he will be in the Heisman conversation possibly.

Called my dad up.

Only people who could come up with would be Otis Armstrong and Leroy Keyes. That's how rare a guy like Moore feels.

I actually knew Leroy pretty well. He was a regular at my bar as he coached rb's in the 90's for Purdue under Tiller. Super nice guy and pretty funny. I have a few slightly funny stories about him, but basically great guy, good coach too.

To be fair, Clemson routinely gaffs against mediocre talent. Lost to a 4 win Syracuse team last year, lost to Pitt at home the year they won the CFP. Lost to Florida State when Jameis was suspended.

But I agree we don't see Clemson get blown out like we have Iowa and Purdue.

Right. Meat on hoof alone should be enough to prevent games like Iowa and Purdue from ever happening. Ohio State will drop games to inferior teams, but they should NEVER lose like they did on Saturday night.
