If they all return next year's team will be light years ahead of this year's. And this year's team is only ranked #1 right now.

That's a pretty big IF though. As big of a mistake as it would be for Cook to go pro, I mean the guy is not ready, "they" are saying he's gone so until I hear otherwise I'm assuming he's gone. Then there is Oden. It's hard for me to imagine that the #1 overall pick in the draft wouldn't go pro, no matter what he's saying, so I'd think the chances are at best 50% he stays.

If the Buckeyes lose both, they'll still be good next year, maybe good enough to win the conference, but probably not as good as this year's team with the dominator in the middle. If they lose just Cook, no question they are better next year than this year. Just the improvement in Oden alone will make a big difference.

I remain cautiously optimistic.

Regardless of Oden or Cook staying or going, Matta has recruited so well, that we will have talent on the typical Carolina/Duke scale.

Diebler could be one of the best shots in basketball if he really works hard from outside the arc.

After watching that, there isnt a doubt that he could have been a star on the mid major level. I just dont see him ever having the body, size or speed to play major minutes at OSU. He is going to be a pretty good situational player though, he can shoot the hell out of that ball man.

Look what humphry did with Florida. Hes not much of anything else but a shooter and he was a stater, if Diebler finds a role with OSU he can really produce. He would have been a welcomed addition this last year with Oden getting doubled and tripled.
