It's odd how they rank quantity vs. quality when assessing draft classes.

We may have the best draft class of all time, player-to-player, but since other teams have more players signed, somehow that drops us in the rankings, even though our team is stacked as is.

If they somehow manage to get Marvin Wilson, that is an absolute "mic drop" for Ohio State / Meyer on this recruiting season.

As I totally agree with you....

but it already has been. Losing Tyjon was a little blow, but this class is still so stupid good.

All Marvin Wilson is now is like finding an onion ring in your fry box. A total game changer, but if it's not there, you are still happy with what ya got.

No. 15-ranked prospect Taron Vincent chooses Ohio St. over Alabama, Clemson

Defensive tackle Taron Vincent, the No. 15-ranked prospect in the 2018 class, has committed to Ohio State. Vincent chose the Buckeyes on Sunday over offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan and plenty others.

"They were just making sure I'm not rushing my decision," he said. "That I'll be 100 percent committed to them and making sure I have full trust in the coaching staff, which I do."

While Vincent is one of the most highly sought-after prospects in the 2018 class, he says he knew this was the right time to make his decision and commit to coach Urban Meyer and his staff.

"My heart just told me I was ready," he said. "I told the coaches that I was committing, and they just started yelling with excitement and welcomed me to the family."

So, today has been a good day on the recruiting front. Commits from two composite top 100 players in Tennessee OT Max Wray and Oklahoma safety Josh Proctor. The train keeps on rolling.
