It's probably much harder for a gay person to be comfortable with him/herself than it is for straight folks who already suffer with life's insecurities. I don't have any close gay friends that I know of and I'm not gay myself so I can't say for sure what it's like to be gay but I really do sympathize with these people. The pressure that ignorant douchebags put on them to change something they simply cannot help makes me irritated. They have a way of life that no rational human being would ever CHOOSE intentionally and I think it's moronic to assume that they selected the lifestyle or that they should cover it up just to assuage your own insecurities.
