At least Gilbert didn't constantly drive the salt-truck after the letter. He calmed down and moved on.

Riley will take LeBron leaving and rendering the Heat barely relevant to the grave. It's a real stain on his legacy. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

They should have at least traded Dragic and maybe let Whiteside walk and start rebuilding. Whiteside on a 4 year max contract is a huge undertaking. To me, if i'm the heat I tank this year. Then look for my cornerstone player either through draft or free agency then entice people to play in Miami. Miami will almost always be relevant because people want to live there.

Well, LeBron decided to leave Pat’s salt mines and come home to Cleveland and play on Gilbert’s team. Pat does have Dion, so that’s something.
