Pretty sure that's not even possible anymore to hit 3 million, for one thing I doubt they sell out every single game and with the downsize in capacity their capped at 35,225. Even with a sellout every game they're looking at 2.85 million.

Either way their attendance better increase since as a sports team you really cannot put out a better product than what the Indians have this season.

They have a solid starting rotation with 5 more in the minors who have had some innings in the pros as well (with Clevinger and Anderson having past rookie limits I am pretty sure by now). The lineup should be set since putting EE in the 4th spot really makes this a hard lineup to face plus we have a solid 8-9 in the bullpen so we should win the central easily on paper this season.

Yeah I mean I don't disagree at all I've been on the side that said people should have been showing up for the past couple of years, I was just pointing out that the 3 million attendance figure isn't possible anymore. To go along with that you can't put a much better product out there then the Indians did last year too, so I'll be in wait and see mode with the attendance I did my part going to about half the home games last year I can only hope people start showing up this year.

He was talking about hot dog sales.

I upgraded by 20 game package to 40 games this morning. Seize the day.
Was this before or after you committed to Browns 2017 season tickets so you could secure an exclusive meet and greet with Sashi Brown? seize the day.

Here are some interesting articles about ticket sales, mechandise sales, team revenue trends, revenue sharing, and new investors.

The Dolans clearly see these activities and results and know the team is already valued at several times the $320M they paid for it in 2000 and that an investment in good players, combined with a great farm system, even in a small market, can pay for itself, and then some.

Read a few recent articles online and what screams out to me is, "The demand has been higher than they originally projected."

More than 10,000 season ticket sales

Here's another good quote, "Some veterans in the front office say this has been the most active off-season in terms of ticket sales since the Glory Days of the 1990s when the team was winning big and first moved into what was then called Jacobs Field."

I'm sure EE has a hand in it, but he just brought everything together as a whole, great young players, great pitching, 1 game from a championship, and a slugger FA.

They might want to install some more seats. Very happy where this is going.

I hope this is a season where the Dolan's win, players win, and the fans win.

Tie the tv numbers to those numbers too to give a full picture.

Where is this table from? I'd like to graph out some of these numbers!

I put it together actually taking info from Baseball Reference. I'd be happy to email you the original spreadsheet.
