Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Andre Johnson is a monster. Someone would have to package a high second round quality RB for me to trade him for a Stevie Johnson package.

Need to keep only two of these three in a 10 team league: Hillis, Hightower, Hardesty. I have Richardson which is the only reason this is a question. Also...am i interested in jacquizz?

Definitely keep Hillis, I think he has a bigger role for KC than most Browns fans want to admit. Hightower is a lottery ticket - Shannahan will probably decide he is going to be the featured back for between two and five games. There is no chance that Shannahan features him the majority of the season. Do you want a back who will give you a few starts and be dog shit the other games, or do you want to handcuff Richardson?

Andre Johnson is absolutely a monster. Before the injury he and Calvin (the CEO and CFO of my Johnson & Johnson receiving corp) were absolutely dominating people. I was winning games by ridiculous margins because of these 2 guys and Stafford. I think the reason he is ranked lower this year has to do with concerns about his injuries. They also think Foster will get most of the scoring opportunities and thus lower Andre's output. To be frank I'd say the pundits are over-thinking things with Andre. Injuries are a concern, but if you can go out and draft one of the best WRs in football you just do it. I also think Schaub is underrated and he has a great chemistry with Andre.

keep stevie, the Hou passing attack isnt what it once was, since foster has shown up his (andre johnsons) numbers have dropped.

I believed causation of Houston's passing attack slowing was because Owen Daniels and Andre Johnson were injured, rather than the offensive scheme limiting the passing attack. Kubiak usually put up great offensive numbers on the ground and in the air. He just didn't have the personnel last year.

Also dont forgot ben tate, those two will probably get close to 500 touches combined.

Don't forget Schaub getting hurt. He was shredding for a while there, then he lost his best weapons, then he got hurt himself.

So I'm less than 24 hours from my first draft. I'm wondering if my strategy is sound, or if I'm crazy and need to rethink things. I'm considering going for 2 RB's and 2 WR's for my first 4 picks then taking Eli Manning or Matt Ryan at 44. Should I try to get my QB earlier? Is Matt Ryan a respectable starting QB? So many questions. There is no way I'm not going to look foolish at this draft.

As long as you don't get slammed with injuries early, you look like a team that can potentially improve as the season progresses. Your team will work if you don't freak out after an opening loss or two.

I dont like Gore that much this year, think he loses the starting job to Hunter by midseason. Like Brown Thomas and Moore, Roddy white Im assuming? If the experts are right his targets will drop a bit but should still deliver decent numbers. Ive already said I dont care much for Hou and their passing attack seeing as how Foster and Tate are going to have 500-600 touches combined.

I think you miss the playoffs to be honest.

10 team, standard, non-PPR.

QB-Matt Ryan
WR-Julio Jones
WR-Mike Wallace
RB-Ray Rice
RB-Trent richardson
TE- Tony Gonzalez
Flex-
K- Jason Hanson
DEF- Ravens

BENCH
QB- Andy Dalton
WR- Malcom Floyd
WR-Greg Little
RB- Montario Hardesty
RB- Peyton Hillis
RB-Pierre Thomas
TE-Brent Celek

Jacquizz Rodgers is still out there. Should I sub him in for anyone on the bench?

I felt particularly good about this draft once I got Celek off waivers to back up Gonzalez's old ass in case he falls off a cliff. What do we think? I worry about the lack of quality depth at RB.

Who would you flex week 1? I'm thinking either Hillis or Little.
