Never got the idea behind a "search firm." You'd think a GM worth a damn and his supporting staff could handle researching relevant contacts to gauge interest for the job and start conversations from there.

We didn’t have a GM leading our coaching searches in the past.

This it beginning to remind me of several months ago when fans thought if they ignored and tore down Baker Mayfield when talking abt the QBs in the draft that the FO would, too. Folks just better hope that familiarity doesn't breed fondness...

Dorsey: Hey Gregg aka 3g...
Williams: hey
Dorsey: can you tell me a little bit about your past, I like when guys overcome things. Can you tell me a little bit about bountygate?
Williams: we aren’t here to talk about that now are we John?
Dorsey: we are...
Williams: Come get some bitch!!!!

Are both Harbaughs possibilities?

I'd prefer John to Jim. He's worked wonders with BAL's defense throughout the years. I have less confidence in his ability to groom Baker though.

I guess you'd be fighting with Denver for John Harbaugh's services.

I am struggling to see the Browns win in a battle against the Broncos for his services.

I could be quite wrong though.
The connections to Denver make sense for him to go there, but draft capital, nice, good young players and a QB, make the Browns a serious player for anyone and everyone.
Not to mention a stable, football guy in Dorsey who has a tremendous history in finding talent.

I hadn't been reading this thread, so I had to catch up.

It made me ill wading through pages of Mike Fucking McCarthy talk.

He's the guy who has had Aaron Rodgers and has failed in utilizing his talents to their potential. Imagine that. If Rodgers wasn't so GD awesome, that team would be what they were with Hundley running it last year.

Imagine Rodgers in an offense that works for him not only because of him.

I also believe that Rodgers is being held back by the chin strap he uses.

Connections, probably having more of a say with the team and overall location would favor Denver.

He's number 1 on my list outside of Arians but I'm struggling to see it. Also for people going "WELL HIS FAMILY IS FROM CLEVELAND" connection is sort of a reach.

...

Also I guess there's rumblings about McDaniels coming here which...uh....I'm anxious about.
