How much of that poor offense is pep Hamilton to blame?

At the end of the day, it's all on Harbaugh. He's billed as an offensive head coach, and if he lets personal feelings help keep the wrong man in the job, then that's on him. That responsibility as a head coach is something Hue clearly never learned.

They’re 10-2 this year. He did succeed. Last year was his only bad year.

This is also just blatantly wrong. Michigan has a top 5-10 recruiting class every damn year, but Northwestern has made more Big 10 championship games than they have. Granted NU's appearance this year has been solely due to conference divisions, but still. Michigan has one of the absolute elite tier colege football programs, and success is measured by national championships, playoff appearances, conference championships... 3 loss seasons are not "a success" by any means.

Yup. If you can't succeed at a program like Michigan, you just aren't a great coach. Hell, even an average coach should be able to succeed at a program like that.

He turned that program around. It was on a major downswing. Name a better coach then him in the past 15 years there. The program itself had issues it had to come back from.

Ohio state got killed by Purdue and they barely beat Maryland (actually should have lost), does that make urban a bad coach?

You're not going to get an unbiased opinion on Harbaugh from a group of Buckeyes fans. I don't think he's the right fit for this, but he's not the bumbling idiot some of you want him to be. He's a damn good coach, just a better fit in college I think.

As for other candidates, if you want eexperience, Arians is the way to go. If you want innovation, it's Riley.

All I need to know about Harbaugh I saw this year in The Game.

He had piles of tape on how to attack the weak Buckeye D, and he did NONE OF THAT.

UM ran plays that did not test that defense at all and lost because of it.

He's also a loon.

Not much to compare against when you have Brady Hoke and Rich Rodriguez to choose from.

Come on man...the NW angle is ridiculous. Michigan would be in the B1G title game every other year if they played in the West.

Last 4 recruiting classes: 37, 8, 5, 22, not exactly elite territory. 10 win seasons are pretty much where Michigan should be talent-wise.

You can always say they weren't successful because they didn't beat OSU or win the B1G, but given the circumstances, they're pretty much where they should be.

They also were screwed by the refs one year on a bad spot

Ok fuck What he's done at Michigan. Just leave that aside. Does anyone remember how he was pushed out in SF because he was an unlikeable douche that players Hated? How the fuck is that not enough to move on from this convo?

And idk what was going on the other day when someone said he didn't have talent in SF. Those teams were LOADED with talent

Harbaugh.

Good, not great. Not much more ceiling, not a guy who is going to adapt to the times.

Not a great CEO for your organization.

Reports that Coughlin may be the coach in Jacksonsville next year. Marrone could be available?
