I'm convinced Caladeron needs to go.. His defense is exposed even against 3rd stringers. Comes in and we implode once again in pre-season.

Edit: Okay, RJ isn't that much better either and he should fucking pass to my man Cedi already. Everyone is just freezing poor Cedi out there.

Couldn't disagree more. The Cavs have three guys (LeBron, Wade, Shump) they could throw in at point in emergency situations. Give me as many wings as possible.

The game has become more and more about guys who can guard multiple positions, shoot the three, and attack closeouts. RJ can do that. Jose can't.

Nah, but atleast make the rotation somewhat functional.. I mean Kay and Felder at the same time? what does that give you?
You wanna see how each one of them runs the offense seperately and decide who runs it better.

Either of them is more useful than RJ, though. Especially with how decent Cedi and Green look, we need the depth waaaaay more at point guard than on the wing.

Normally I'd agree, but I think it is very plausible that RJ's off the court impact on chemistry is much more important than anything Felder or Calderon will bring on the court.

I say cut Felder and Calderon. See if Felder makes it through waivers and sign him to a 2 way. And if it ever gets dire enough, then trade or cut RJ and sign a PG.

Or just trade Shump.

Cedi's D isn't what I'm used to. He was so good at contesting the 3pt shot and still being able to deny penetration, but now he gets blown by after a contest.

Nice pull up from mid range though.. impressive.

He looks slower regardless.. But I'm not worried.

Lue is trying to injure Felder by playing him 17 min straight in preseason ,so we have an injury exception and gain a roster spot. Coach is a genius.

I'm not totally sure. I'm not one to discount the importance of chemistry, but this team looks like it has fantastic chemistry so far, and it's hard to imagine that changing no matter who the 15th man is.

As for Felder/Calderon actually being useful, I can see it happening. There's a good chance Rose and Wade aren't going to be healthy every game before IT gets back. I'd rather not task LeBron with playing backup PG on those nights (something LeBron has expressed a reluctance to do in the past), and I sure as hell don't want to see Shump bringing the ball up the court ever again.

Having Felder or Calderon in reserve, guys who have practiced with the team and know the system, is better than signing any old random journeyman to come in and play a 10-day contract.
