Preseason game 3 cavs@whizz

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This John Holland guy has a nice hand.
Trade Shump for picks, leave this guy on.

When you watch the Warriors or the Spurs offense even with their 3rd stringers they still run their offense.
I would have liked to see Cedi cut, handle the ball more and not just stand at the 3pt line on offense. He can do more and that's the time to test it.

Anyways, I hope we see a team that doesn't rely on ISO as much and move the ball and both with the 1st and 2nd unit.

Holland is set. He's on a two way deal that does not count against our 15 man roster. No other team can sign him away from us this year. He can spend up to 45 with us for practice or games without us needing to remove anyone else from the 15 man roster.

So whenever we do a rest game in the regular season, him and he second player we sign to a two way deal will come up from Canton and eat some minutes.

Some very solid highlights from a game that didn't look to worthy of it before the tip. The pass by Cedi, nice moves by Felder, a few Green dunks and then the mother of all the preseason dunks.

Not in Ohio so had to watch on NBATV with Was feed, LPBB edited the Ohio feed weird, did Allie interview an assistant coach before the 3rd? Can anyone humor me? I'm gonna watch on the app for the GM interview so I might as well know...

She interviewed Larry drew who said something generic about defensive effort

GSW has a great system that we dont have and the reason is.....coach!

I don't feel super strongly either way. I think Kay's defense is more important than Jose's offense, but I do think Jose is a slightly better all-around player, and I value his generally low-mistake play on offense.

Either of them is more useful than RJ, though. Especially with how decent Cedi and Green look, we need the depth waaaaay more at point guard than on the wing.

Felder or Calderon will not see many minutes. Why not keep the younger player who might have some upside

Even in what's been a mediocre-at-best preseason for him, Calderon has 10 assists and 2 turnovers so far, and that low-mistake offensive style has been Calderon's trademark his whole career.

Since the primary function of this break-glass-in-case-of-emergency point guard will be to bring the ball up the floor and initiate the offense (and occasionally hit a shot if left wide open), I'd rather have Calderon than Felder. He's a limited player, but a good fit in my opinion for what we need from our 15th man.

he has been our worst player and unlike Felder, he played with our 2nd unit and not the 3rd.

I just don't see any real positives that Felder brings to the table...he's not typically an efficient scorer or passer, and his hustle on defense is often cancelled out by his lack of size. I was one of the guys defending him during summer league, too.

Also, Felder started and Jose came off the bench in this game, so I think he actually got more minutes with real NBA players and less minutes with Perk and the scrubs than Calderon, at least in this case.
