Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just read up on it and I will check it out.

I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle of the two movies given that people who eat fast food regularly don't eat either of what these two guys are eating when they eat fast food ie massive quantities of fast food all the time like Spurlock or the healthiest foods off the menu like Naughton.

if you watch the Fat Head movie, you can learn what the healthiest foods are so if you do end up at a fast food place for whatever reason you can make a reasonable choice. The movie also shows just how completely messed up the nutrition "education" over the past several decades has been.

Are you a fan of Shyamalan plot twists? If so, go see this movie. It has probably the biggest, dumbest, greatest, most Shyamalanian plot twist imaginable.

Is it that it all takes place in the Beltway?

I'm usually not a fan of musicals but La La Land was so beautifully done.

The OST is one of the best I have heard in a long time and both Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling were outstanding.

That last scene though, man. Fuck!

Damien Chazelle and his endings. Like Whiplash, it would take me a while to get that ending out of my head. So sad yet beautiful!

8.5/10.

Oscar nominations come out Tuesday morning at 5:00.A few years ago, the Academy implemented a new system where between 5 and 10 movies are nominated. Here are my predictions for best picture. I think the first 8 are locks and will be the only nominees. Then there are a few wild cards that could sneak in. In no particular order:

Locks
Manchester by the Sea
LaLa Land
Moonlinght
Hidden Figures
Lion
Hell or High Water
Arrival
Hacksaw Ridge

Possibilities
Fences
Silence
Nocturnal Animals

My 8 locks made it, plus Fences. I still have to see that and Lion.

I'd say 95% chance either LaLa Land, Moonlight or Manchester by the Sea win best picture (and best director). Arrival is the only other possibility I see, and it's a long shot. I'd guess LaLa Land wins best picture, director, screenplay, editing, and score, with a good shot at best original song and cinematography. And it's nominated for a bunch more.

Best Actress will either be Emma Stone from LaLa Land or Natalie Portman from Jackie. Haven't seen Jackie and probably won't.

Best Actor favorite is probably Casey Affleck for Manchester by the Sea, although I'd go Andrew Garfield for Hacksaw Ridge. Maybe Denzel, but I still have to see Fences.

Supporting actress should go to Naomie Harris from Moonlight.

Supporting actor is wide open. I'd probably pick Michael Shannon from Nocturnal Animals, but Jeff Bridges and Mahershala Ali both are deserving.

6 of the 20 acting nominations went to African Americans. You might remember last there was a big controversy over the selections including none. Hidden Figures and Moonlight (and maybe Fences when I see it) were both well acted in my opinion, so I think they are deserved nominations.

Star Wars, Dr. Strange, Star Trek, Fantastic Beasts and even Suicide Squad got nominations for sound/costume/special effects categories. Although Jungle Book should win special effects.

You can probably put Moonlight and La La Land at about 90-95% to win tbh. I'd say La La Land is the favorite, maybe 60% La La Land and 30% Moonlight, although I've made it clear what I think is the best film.

Michael Shannon should win all the awards. He'll cunt punt Bridges.

Just putting this out there again:

Death Race 2050

What happens when u mix Death Race , Mad Max and remove all the budget ? You get Death Race 2050. This movie is bad. Really really bad! So you SHOULD watch it.

Captain Fantastic

pretty neat movie, bunch of great moments and Viggo Mortensen is fucking incredible. It's weird becaue when ended I really liked it, but as I'm sitting here now there's really not a lot that stands out to me when I think back on it. It's a good movie and I'd probably watch it again, but... I don't know, right now there's not that's coming to me.
