That was awesome. Thought it was gonna be a video for whatever reason

Walked by the flower shop the other day. It is closed now. I wonder whatever happened to Doggie.

God, I wish Hollywood would stop shoving their PC Femnazi bullshit down everyone's throat.

Fucking sexist, too. Not a single male was nominated in either Best Actress category.

Finally saw All the money in the world. Really, really solid. In retrospect, Spacey getting outted as a creepy bastard was a good thing, because he'd have just been Frank Underwood sub out the southern accent for wealth.

Really, really excited for The Post next weekend.

Just watched The Dark Knight Rises - the new 4k version. For a movie I was disappointed in when I first saw it in theaters, this movie just gets better and better every single time I watch it.

Finally found a good version on Kodi, so I watched JUSTICE LEAGUE for the first time.

It was totally a "meh" movie.

If only someone came up with a good formula for creating a good super team movie. Hmmm.... Would have been nice to see stand alones about Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg instead of rushing through their backstories so quickly. Cyborg was the coolest thing about this movie. Aquaman was cooler than he's ever been in the cartoons. Wonder Woman's legs...obviously.

Hated the Flash. First, I can't unsee his character from Perks of Being a Wallflower (great movie) each time he's on screen. I don't know much of the Flash backstory besides what's on the TV show, so i don't know what his personality is supposed to be like. Is it a wise-cracking guy? It just didn't work, and the way they had him slow-motion run looked REALLY weird.

The bad guy was meh.

Glad I waited and didn't pony up for the theater experience.

Molly's Game was pretty good. Felt a lot like a poorer man's version of The Big Short. Jessica Chastain and Idris Elba were both really good. Elba had a really good soliloquy near the end. Kevin Costner is a national treasure.

But in the theater, you got a great view of Henry Cavill's CGI upper lip...

I had to rewind after him being on screen and me thinking, 'Did his face/head look weird???"

That was totally when he was in the cornfield talking to Lois, right?

Everything Weedon reshot had CGI lip. Don't know exactly what he reshot, but that's probably one, and the homemade video at the beginning was probably another.

This is another movie where I go against the grain and feel it is absolutely great. Wonderful ending to a great trilogy. Dark Knight is still the tops, but it's way closer to me than most people say.

I have it right there now too, which is a far cry from where it was the first time I saw it.

I've had this kind of experience before with music, where I was disappointed in an album the first time only to have it steadily grow into a classic. This is the first time I recall that happening with a movie.

Super excited for The Post. Seeing it Sunday.

Not sure it'll live up to expectations.

That's how I ALWAYS am with music. I don't know if I've ever loved an album on first listen (maybe some of The Beatles but it's raaaarrrreeeee), but a track can have a way of grooving into you over time.

The first times I watched Dodgeball I wasn't that into it, but now it is easily among my favorite all time comedies.

Born Strong: 8/10

Documentary of top 4 world strongest man competitors(The Mountain is one of them) before and during the Arnold Classic in downtown Columbus. The amount of weight they can put up is crazy to see- almost as impressed with the amount of food they put down in a day.

Pretty solid documentary

Finally saw IT. I'm not sure what to think of it. I kind of liked it but thought they left some good stuff out (no, not the gangbang). Was waiting for "this is battery acid" at the end. Nope.
