Did you feel like after the big plot reveal midway through that the movie went down hill fast?

Yeah, to a certain extent. I thought that after...
Woody Harrelson's character died, it wasn't as fun. It was a fine twist, and his death introduced some interesting elements, but I missed his character. It was almost like Marty from True Detective was back, and then he wasn't.

Some of the dialogue was bad too. Good enough to recommend a watch though.

The Cloverfield Paradox: 4/10

Bad sets, bad dialogue, and magnetic flex seal.

Netflix has some good content but there are a lot of duds lately.

I thought 3 billboards was enjoyable start to finish.

Ending was the normcore of cinema though.

Shape of water was hot garbage. Love Michael Shannon though.

Phantom thread was great acting in a weird movie.. Netflix worthy, but not theater level..

The Foreigner was awesome... Very unexpected.. Solid action flick with a decent story/plot.

Have u figured what the link is with the original Cloverfield movies ? I lost interest halfway and did not pay attention from then on, but the movie was running in the background.

Yo the apricot....honestly that was the one scene that I had to turn away from lol

Are you saying you have never employed fruit in an erotic manner?

Not even a hapless honey-dew?

The energy source opened another dimension which let the monsters through at the very end of the movie.

It would have been a better film had it tried to go more Event Horizon than what it ultimately became.

Not that part. It was the scene afterwards. With Armie Hammer.

I take it you were never in a Frat.

The saltine cracker? The gookie-cookie? Pledge snowballing?

No I wasn't. That doesn't seem worth it to me. WTF is pledge snowballing?

Eh, I don't think you want to know. And @The Oi.

Edit: But I'll tell you anyway:

It is when you are a big brother and your pledge/little bro is sucking you off to promote brotherhood. You have your best frat bro next to you with his pledge and you high-five repeatedly during the act. After you blow your load in your little bro's mouth, and the same with your frat bro, the pledges have to kiss and exchange the loads in their mouths. This builds camaraderie and brotherhood.
