I could have told you it was dumb just from the previews.

Jurassic Park has been dumb since after the second one. In fact even that one was dumb at the end.

That's why I said it was even dumber than I expected, not that it was dumb. I expected it to be really stupid, because the previews made it look really stupid. It was even dumber than that. It was quite possibly the dumbest film I've ever seen.

When they had the girl do gymnastics and kick the fucking raptor out the window I was done with that movie. (Lost World I’m talking).

I’m just so disappointed that they can’t make good Jurassic Park movies. The first one is one my favorite films of all time. It helped me love dinosaurs, which I still do to this day. Just fucking dumb. Not sure I want to see this one. Maybe if I buy the Movie Pass.

I have MP, and I'm not spending the time to drive to the theater to see that trash for free. That's how bad it looks. Remember seeing the preview and wondering how they could stretch that plot for longer than 30 minutes.

Yeah? Hopefully you didn't spend money to go see it then and play right into their hands? :chuckle:

Saw the Mister Rogers movie. Everyone should have to watch it. He was telling us something, everyone ignored it and now we live in a horrible world.

The original Jurassic Park is my favorite movie of all time. The only other JP movie that I found somewhat entertaining since was Jurassic World, the 2nd and 3rd were absolute dog shit. I can’t imagine how shitty the next one will be if they stay on this storyline.

Can you tell us what he was telling us?

Dark Knight

Man. Ledger's joker. Bale, Oldman and Hans effing Zimmer with that ending. Still gives me chills.

Ledger must have went to some pretty dark places to perform this role in the way he did.

That fucking score when Batman says "I killed those people, that's what I can be". Man, Zimmer out here avg a trip doub in every finals.

9.9/10

- 0.1 because I hated Maggie G.

Fuck man I literally saw this in theaters 4-5 times with different people every time, who hadn't seen it yet. Since then, I don't think I've watched it...but my memories of it are that it was a near flawless superhero film.

Yeah, it's probably the best superhero film ever, at least thus far. Ledger's incredible performance really helps to cover up some of the plot holes in a way that no one from Rises could.

Agreed, and the pacing is absolutely perfect, it kind of feels like a ball rolling downhill. Almost every scene has at least one of Bale, Eckhart or Ledger in it, and frequently two of them in it. All 3 just steal every scene they're in, with Ledger most of all of course. Surround them with great supporting actors like Morgan Freeman and Gary Oldman, and the movie just hits way too quickly for you to ever stop and think about all the little flaws. You're just glad to be along for the ride.

Like everyone mentioned above, the only problem for me was the Rachel Dawes character, which Nolan just never got right even with the actress change.
