Wish we could've seen the version of Bohemian Rhapsody that Sacha baron Cohen turned down

It was good! Kids liked it.

My only major beef was that they used a hip hop version of the Grinch song and didnt use the original at all. Maybe the kids wouldnt know any better, but this had to have been a huge bummer for many of the parents. This has always been my favorite Christmas movie and one of my favorite songs of all time honestly. I was geared up to hear the song with maybe a slightly different spin on it. It was unrecognizable.

Otherwise...cute kids movie.

My understanding is that it happened just the opposite. Queen said no to him because it was too much. He pitched them a wild rated R sex filled doozy, they passed, and he got pissy.

In other news, Ballad of Buster Scruggs. Top fucking notch.

According to him, he wanted to azfuslly portray the crazy shit Freddie did and they wanted to protect the bands rep.

Yeah, pretty much. It's Sasha being Sasha. I'd have totally watched, but it would have been a MASSIVE box office dud. They, from my understanding, didn't even get far enough where there was a script. Roger Taylor/Brian May seem like total twats about Freddie's legacy/imaging. Kinda fucking annoying.

The band wanted 50% of the film to be about how the band succeeded after he died as well

They must really think this movie is going to be a serious hit if they planned to release it on the same day as Toy Story 4.

*Keanu Reeves will also have a role in Toy Story 4.

Then you have another legendary horror flick reboot:

They brought back Ozzie!!! (Probably just a cameo for nostalgia.)

Then you have this masterpiece:

Will probably be the best reboot ever

I was thinking about taking Creed 2 in.

How does it rate with the first Creed?

Been too long since I've seen the original but the audience was cheering throughout this thing and I teared up a few times.

I really want to see Creed 2. Probably should see the first one. Better check netflix....

Overlord was good. They actually got a lot of the "real" military stuff right, which made it much better than just a horror flick. It was basically Captain America without Captain America, but still pretty good.

felt like Creed should have taken a knee and lost the match. Drago and dragons son had nothing because they never won the title and one of the themes was realizing what was important. It should have been his family and that he didn't need boxing or whatever. But then there'd be no sequels
