I was just looking too. Don't see anything and I do have player that is injured.

You click on his name and move him to the IL from the bench or lineup. He has to have the official inj tag and not just an injury update tag though.

Click his position like you were going to sub him in, and the IR spot will magically appear at the bottom.

chandler parsons has an O for out, but I don't get an IR spot when I click on him?

An "O" does not count, as it's sort of like being day to day. They need "INJ" next to them to be eligible.

So if you have an injured player with the official red injured tag (click on his POS, the IL spot will appear) YOU BASICALLY STILL HAVE ANOTHER FREE PICK.
Scour the Waiver Wire, put guys on the Watch List, and put out waiver claims- they come due Wed the 28th. If you have a guy on IR it will say "Pick up Player A and drop no one"- which is the new addition (in the past it would force you to drop someone). I put waiver claims in on like 10 guys so I get someone. I would suggest doing the same.

Couple questions:
1. When do lineups lock? Can you set your lineup daily or is it weekly?
2. Is there a maximum number of games your team can play in a week? Or is it just you get what you get? Obviously some teams play more than others in a given week, just luck of the draw then?

Entire lineups don't really lock, indiv players do, and IIRC it's on the minute, or possibly 5 mins before gametime. You can set lineups daily, or just do it for the whole week. Be warned, if you make a waiver wire move it will reset your lineups, so always confirm lineups after making changes.
No maximum games, but Wed & Fri tend to be the full days, so you may have to make decisions about who to play/bench there. Yes, it varies how many games a player has in a week, so that's just luck of the draw.
