RCF Official Fantasy Hoops 2009-10

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'd love to see the last place finisher of the Official RCF League get booted and the winner of the "B League" get bumped up. I was in a league like that with California friends in FFB until this year... it prevents teams from tanking at the end of the year.

Was i the 3rd place finisher? ill play again sorry been busy.

Curious question to get some people's opinion, anyone feel free to answer.

How many people do you think is best for a league?

12 teams?
14?
16?

Obviously the more teams the more strategy but I also don't want too many scrubs...suggestions?

I've always like 12.

Look, I just finished my experience last year in Fantasy Basketball.

Couple things to help you out:

You need to base your fantasy basketball on the league itself in some way:
  1. There's over 400 guys to choose from. 270 probably are halfway productive. If you had 15 player rosters, you could compete realistically with 18 teams, if the guys are any good.
  2. Also, you need to balance it out so that a playoffs can be included and incentives (not real ones, mind you). 8 seeds seems good because you always can finish with one champion.
  3. Tie-breakers are important to keep track of in a league too.
  4. You need to realistically split up a league so that there's equally good teams with equally bad. Not in competition because the whole league should be filled with good players. That's why playoffs are important.
  5. In a perfect world, the same amount of playoff seeds should equal the amount of non-seeds, like in the big one here. That's 16. 12 is too few if you're looking for playoff competition. But 18 might be too many.
Now it's up to you what you decide. Make sure you get good fantasy guys.
