I know you've been one of the harshest critics about Mayfield's mechanics, specifically his base getting too wide. It appears to be something he's very much aware of and taking steps to improve upon.

Sounds exactly like the Chiefs situation last year. Alex Smith had arguably the best season of any QB, but his team still handed the reins to the rookie.
