This kid kinda reminds me of Millsap 6'9.5 with shoes, has 7'1.5 wingspan,
quick off the dribble for his size, great leaper, 32 no step vert and 36 max vert.
Amazing advanced numbers

why is he projected so late? Am I the only one that sees a potential there?
could he eventually play the 3?
can see him playing small ball 5, just like TT, Holmes has much better blocking numbers, 4 per 40.

He looks pretty good from what I've read about him and I'm also a little surprised he is projected at 46. I don't think He'll be able to play the 3 ever, he's just not fast enough to keep up on the perimeter properly, but if one was looking for a solid back-up pf it would seem that you could be much worse off than picking him up.

I definitely wouldn't mind him if he's there in the second.

I'm so glad you made this thread – he's my favorite underdog in the draft. Can shoot 3's and block shots... can't ask for much more from a pick in the 50's.

He did that in the MAC. Can he do it in the NBA? If he had put up those numbers in a major conference, combined with his physical attributes, he'd likely be viewed as a late first prospect.

There are also two other guys that are worth mentioning,
the first one is Michael Frazier , a good streaky shooter much like Jr Smith, excells in catch and shoot situations rather than off the dribble, could really strive with good penetrators and floor spacers so I see him with Irving and James at the same time alot.
He has great range, high release and his shot really reminds me of JR.
he is good defensively his weakness is really creating his own shot but that's not our problem since we have tons of shot creators.

I'd try to get nmore second round picks somehow, there are good guys to be had.

Another one is Ryan Boatright, really off the radar, energy guy, really athletic, explosive, good 3pt shooter and looks like he has range.
I watched alot of this guy and I he is really underrated, reminds me of Isaiah Thomas and Aaron Brooks together..
I'm not sure I would trust him in a playoffs but I think he has potential and he will have the best guidance out there.
could thrive in pick and roll and could provide immediate offense eventually.

These are all Cavs potential second round picks that I like where they pick.

What is nice about boatright is he comes from a battle tested program and the elevation on his jumper. It means he can find his shot at the next level

The only part of Millsap he has is the ability to be shorter at his position, which is STRICTLY a four.

As a former BG student, he's great at held defense, but offensively? It's a lot of dunks, a lot of cleaning up on rebounds, and a lot of free throws. Not really a post move guy, HATES the Cavs with a passion.

Fuck em then.

Maybe not. But 3's translate. And his block numbers might be inflated, but he at least has the skillset.
