Rodney Hood: Won't be missed

There’s a reason he started getting booed in Utah before they traded him. He’s completely unreliable and soft.
 
How much money has this guy lost? Crazy how he turned down the extension that probably would've netted him something short of a max in Utah. Reminds me of Nerlen Noel who turned down a 4 year 70 million dollar extension with the Mavs only to then take the qualifying offer of 4.1 million. Hood and Noel should both fire their agents for thinking they were better than those contracts they refused.

Imo both noel and hood are kind like I.T and Crowder, it takes a well-rounded system to maximize the effectiveness of these players. Imagine Hood on the spurs, for example, Pops would have this dude looking like an all-star.

I think he might be one of those guys that flashes all-star talent but never puts it together. He might thrive in a Spurs uniform or he could be sitting on the bench next to Pop because he's unreliable and soft.

Needs a coach who had vision and can reach guards. Carlisle would be a great coach for him.

Honestly no reason for green to see the floor. The bad thing is when he uses his talents appropriately he can be very effective. Back into the post and shoot over people, drive, an occasional mid range, and go hard on the break....nope. Camp at the 3 point line where he is ineffective.

Has all the physical tools to succeed but never really has. Hood might fall into that category too.

Let alone his versatility, his defense is enough to keep him in the league. There are guards like Roberson in the league, which is a starter in a playoff team. Lol So cut the crap with this ridiculous Bullshit. Dude is to talented for that...
