Rodney Hood: Won't be missed

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He was sold to me as a 3 pt threat, but I have yet to see him not take a contested 2 over a wide open 3...

Its MADDENING. He continues to pass up open threes for tough twos. I just don't get it.

Really wish the Cavs hadn't brought him back and just moved forward with Kyle and JR as the shooting guards.

I’m not sure why the Cavs are trying to force this loser to be apart of the future. Him producing without LeBron tells me he’s just a stat padding wuss who bitched up when the lights were at it’s brightest.

I’m not a fan.

He's in mid season form already. We are keeping our pick boys!

Not sure what these small sample size/pre-season numbers have to do with anything.

We already know he isn't real efficient, but his career numbers are the better indicator (42%, 37% from 3).

Where we could see some improvement is if he gets to the line more often, which seems to be a focus...his 80+% on FT's could really increase his overall efficiency if he can increase to 5-6 attempts/game.

He's been stinking up the joint for about half a year now.

Shumpert and Green were good players with the right physical profile and some skills, but both struggled to stay focused on the game. Rodney is most likely a similar player, based on his history, but he has a narrow window to step beyond that. Based on similar players, I would say he is not likely to make the next step, but it's worth a dice roll to find out..

well if Rodney is betting on himself, someone needs to look into things, seems like some Pete Rose shit going on here.

Sucky player still sucks. I'm shocked.

At least we didn't pay him......although we did still light $3.4 million on fire just to have his corpse around.
I was one of the few who thought we should just release him. Especially after being a self-entitled bitch in the playoffs.

I would rather give his roster spot to literally ANY other NBA player.

He doesn't play within the offense to me. He just seems like a guy who Isos every once in awhile. He seemed to be rebounding more. That is nice

He was an off the bench scorer in Utah, let him lead the 2nd unit with clarkson. They can take turns scoring. Would like to see sexton start to exploit his speed with Love's rebounding and gravity on offense. Sexton-Hill-Cedi-Love-TT. Bench squad: Clarkson-Hood-Korver-Dekker-Frye/Zizic..

Should have just let him go after he turned down the contract extension.
