I think we sweep the Celtics......if the refs aren't treating Thomas like Michael Jordan.

LeBron shot more FTs than the entire Raptors team. The bitching is coming, and it generally works.
Game 3 will tell us a lot about this team.
The NBA will be determined to gift them at least one game.

So are "kyrie doesn't look 100%" and "lebron's minutes" this year's version of "cavs crowd doesnt sound loud?"

Just a few weeks ago 99% of the board was totally convinced we'd lose 5+ games before The Finals this year...
We won't lose more than two, again, for the 3rd year in a row. There's a real chance we sweep it.

The Cavs are playing at a very high clip right now, mainly due to LeBron James. We all knew he had another gear he was going to shift towards once the playoffs started, but he has really turned it on.
We go as he goes, obviously. Usually I'd expect bigger scoring outings out of Kyrie, but it's been LeBron handling all the high scoring games and Irving has really just had it on cruise control as he's dishing it out at a career best clip over the last 2 games, and the Cavs are controlling the games pretty much from start to finish.
Now, they are playing very well.. Hard to beat them when their on like this, actually I believe nobody in the East can touch them, and only the Warriors and Spurs could give them a run for their money when their on this type of pace.
But, I don't see them sweeping the entire East. I think Thomas is doing something special in Boston, and while I don't see that team beating the Cavs, I can see them taking a game, maybe even two depending on how Lue adjust his defensive gameplan on Thomas, because he will need to trap him and double him all over the floor. That, or just place Shumpert on him and let Shump dig in and go to work. That'd be my plan.
As far as this series goes.. Its all but over. I think the Cavs win it in 5. Toronto will likely get game 3 or 4, probably game 3 because they will want to come out and play their best game in front of their home crowd with the teams backs up against a wall.
Then again, I wouldn't rule out Bron or Ky going off and breaking the hearts of every single person up North.
Should be entertaining Friday night. Here's hoping for a sweep so the rest awaits..

Kobe Bryant actually helped out Kyrie a lot, and it's been well known Bron and Kobe talk and are a lot closer than the media believes/reports.
I know you were kidding with the whole assist dropping and such, but props to IT for reaching out to one of the best to ever do it. It worked so well for Ky last season, as we all recall when he hit that shot in game 7, he was quoted saying the only thing he was thinking was "Mamba Mentality" after he put up the shot.
So, as we can joke about it now and such.. Its actually a really good move by IT honestly.
I really hope one day Kobe returns, to at least be some type of coach. Kinda like some players are today, maybe even a James Posey type role or a James Jones type role when he retires at the end of the year.
Of course, the Lakers would be the top choice for him to be on the sideline.. But, I guess you never know, Ky and Kobe are pretty tight - so that could open the door there.
One can only hope, anyway.
