Round 2 - Game 3: Cleveland Cavaliers @ Toronto Raptors Friday, May 5th, 2017 7:00 PM [EST]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
On the bright side, barring some unforeseen circumstance this should be the last Hubie Brown Cavs game we have to endure in the playoffs.

TT's defense has been outstanding. He's guarding everyone and holding his ground.

Combine that with LeBron, and KK and Deron, two players that are unselfish and will take what the defense gives them. 19 point lead.

@ice cream man! Where you been?! Good to have you!

Never gets old!

The best part was all the people that killed Griffin for the Korver trade and the Deron signing while he was struggling pretending like they never said any of it right now

I'll admit that I was down on Deron from the trade until the end of the regular season.

But I love eating crow. I'm so glad to see him put it together.

Is he retiring?

Edit: Nevermind, read that wrong.

was glad to see Korver shine. his trey ball is damn near automatic.

Many people are going to look at the offense in the 4th, I absolutely credit the defense with that quarter. Only allowed 17 Raptor points in the last 12 minutes after it was just a 2 point game to start the last stanza.

After giving up the ball with 16 turnovers, I thought the rebounding was impactful and made up for the missed possessions. +24 in that catagory.

James is James but honorable mention to Kover with 14 off the bench. I am also not sold on this DD guy on Toronto, he is too erratic from game to game to actually succeed in this league from a winning standpoint.

Here's to the sweep and another week off. I want this team to have another week off. Let Boston and Washington battle it out with the thought in the back of each squad's head, "Damn, even if we win THIS series, he gotta play the fucking Cavs!"

They way they used the second unit to close out the game, with LeBron of course. That is what you want to see right now. They did this last year and now they have the know how to win. Korver will be huge against GS and or any team because he demands focus and if Shump and Smith can knock down threes with ease again guess what happens. I love what I am seeing now and I warned people here they did not listen. Just wait till the play offs.

I was in the minority for a long time because I liked Hubie Brown. His basketball IQ is on point but tonight I actually listened to what he was saying and he clearly had bias towards Toronto. Maybe he wants a more competitive balanced league? But it was kind of odd to hear him say on that foul that Ibaka committed on James basically they called it on the wrong guy. I was waiting for him to praise the Cavs like he was when the Raps would make a good play and he didn't. He would have a reaction but not as enthusiastic as if it was Toronto.

Have to say also something about that blondie sitting next to Cavs bench, My God! What a freaking rocket!

Let's hope JeVale McGee isn't a Biyombo.

I would really doubt it.. McGee was the reason Shaqtin a Fool came to be for a reason.. he has propably half the brain of Biyombo. half the heart and hustle too.

JaVale can block some shots and finish lobs buts thats about it.. he also fouls out pretty quick if given extended minutes..
Bismack was trouble because he outhustled even TT on the Glass and protecting the Paint without fouling out..

Javale will be fouled out by halftime(propably earlier)each Game if Lebron keeps beeing that agressive going to the rim drawing fouls..

This is another team he can stuff and mount in his trophy room. Along with Deee-troit basketball, the Agent Zero Wizards, the Derrick Rose Bulls, the Paul George Pacers, the Horford/Millsap Hawks, and the Big Three version of the Thunder.

Big 4 Warriors could be next..

Can anybody imagine if Lebron and the Team keep playing like we are now..maybe even slightly better.. we beat GSW in 5 or 6 ... What would that to to them? They collectively are already suffering from Lebron induced Trauma..

Wait, you think that if the Cavs play like they are playing now they beat GSW in 5 or 6? you are out of your mind and you are either overrating the Cavs or underrating the Warriors, which one is it?

Another epic second half from Lebron. He has mastered the game of basketball at this point in his career.

He had that Post Spin Jumper with the left Hand.. twice! this Game..

At this point i would not even be suprised if Lebron played till he is 40 and still is a Top 1-3 Player even at 40.

He might very well take the whole "adapt your game as you age" to a whole new Level.
Right now he seemingly already does..

"Get a Post Game" --- Lebron becomes deadliest Post Player in the NBA(he is scoring around 17 Points at the Basket.. on oer 70% shooting.. thats Shaq Level.. no joke)

"Get your 3pter back" --- Lebron shoots .486 % from 3 so far in the Player

"Fix your FT %" --- Lebron shoots 43/54(79%) the last 4 Games

Whats next? Will he develop a Dirk Like Mid Range Fadeaway, a Kareem like Skyhook?
