[Second Round Matchup Thread] Cleveland vs. ???

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Might be old, good discussion about the value that Love brings and how fucked we are.

I disagree we aren't fucked. Fucked is being in the finals with Eric Snow, Larry Hughes, Pavs, etc and etc vs SA. Thats fucked.

Kyrie, JR(Eventually), Shump, Mozzy, TT, and 1 of the 3 other guys just have to do extra.

LeBron playing the 4 will give Chicago fits. Timo will have a huge impact on both ends now.

I guess i should clarify that they were giving reasons on how fucked we are.

When you have Lebron and Kyrie you are almost always going to have the 2 best players in a series or 2 of the 3.

So if Atlanta gets upset, we avoid Chicago right? Not saying that is happening, but at 2-1 worth considering.
Wow.

I get it, Atlanta is very good. In a thread dedicated to "whoever we play next," it is worth considering an upset. It is at least as probably as Mil winning four in a row. The Boston championship team almost got eliminated in the first round this year, both number one seeds last year went to seven games in the first round last year, and no need to mention the teams that actually knocked out the 1 seed. Not likely at all, but if the Cavs were only up 2-1, the board would probably be flipping out.

How many of you guys were secretly hoping the Cavs would lose yesterdays game just in case JR Smith gets suspended the games would be served against the Celtics?

I thought about this, but then I realized the NBA would see right through it and just suspended JR an additional game.

How is this relevant? This isnt the NHL, teams arent reseeded after every round.

Nope you are stuck with winner of Bulls vs Bucks. NBA does not reseed. Once the bracket is set its set.

Um....I think he's saying WOW because they do not, nor have they ever as far as I know, reseeded the playoffs. Therefore the only chance we have of not playing Chicago is if the Bucks go on a hell of an unprecedented run.

thought about this then realised next game some scrub on the celtics bench would decapitate mozgov while moz get whistled for a tech for spilling blood on the court

Got it, thanks. Obviously it's been awhile since the Cavs have been in, and I've paid attention to seeds.

Hahaha at the thought of James Jones on Noah, did you guys get a good look at Jones yesterday and notice his putrid defense along with the inability to rebound. If we're counting on Jones then that's a death sentence.

Well, we can't literally play just 5 guys if JR and Love are out. Someone off this putrid existence of a bench has to play.

I don't think anyone loves it, but at least you can hide him on the floor, by guarding a guy that's virtually done nothing at all offensively.

Having him come off the bench, and guard a guy like Mirotic? Um, no thanks.

You have to start him, that's the only thing that makes sense. That's the only way you can hide his awful defense. He's going to play without Love, that's a foregone conclusion. It's about making the best out of a shitty deck.

Almost wondering if it is better for Chicago to finish Milwaukee off tonight while Atl-Brk goes 7.

If we start our series on Saturday and the other semi-final starts Tuesday, then we'll have to have a lot of time off inbetween games. That way, LeBron and Kyrie can play 40+ easily with the extra time off.

Am I the only one who thinks the Bucks still have a chance in this series if they pull this one out?

It is honestly gross how overrated the Bulls are. Can someone who is scared of Chicago tell me how you would feel about going up against an actually good team like Golden State? You must think we would get swept!

Cavs rule, Bulls drool. Can't simplify it any more than that

No, you're not the only one. And props because you had the balls to call that an hour ago. No, the Bulls are in a fight now. It sure is fun to be able to sit back and watch this unfold, I have to say.
