I was at the game and that summary doesn't quite cover all of the tomfoolery . Santana pop up would have been caught by the short stop if he was in normal position , but the infield was playing in to cut off the run.

Also, the fielder choice play with Zimmer was challanged by both team. Zimmer was called safe and it was close enough for the A's to challenge. That would have ended the inning. Santana was originally called out at the plate and the Indians challaged and it was overturned.

I was telling the person next to me that is one of the most bizarre chain of events I've seen at a game. The only thing odder was a Indians / Orioles game several years ago when they retroactively added a run 2-3 innings after the play happened.
