Well this has been touched upon already, but as I can't seem to keep my mouth shut I'll weigh in on the subject.

W&G's thread touched on LeBron in 2010 it is true, however that wasn't the main theme of the post. His entire post was about one of the most powerful men in basketball. He did mention that all of this LeBron to NY was probably due to the influence of Wesley, however it mostly touched on the subject of this man's influence in the athletic world. Most of the article related to how this man got his power, how he has contacts all over the NBA, and how he influences athletic talent, especially when they are still young.

Heath's thread, "the strategy", was COMPLETELY about LBJ in 2010. The entire strategy that Heath was discussing was a strategy to keep LeBron from leaving. While it was well thought out, I ended up reading it because of the misleading title and the fact that it wasn't in the 2010 thread. I read the article because it was well thought out, however I was still annoyed that I was led into another 2010 thread by an ambiguous title.

That is why the 2010 thread exists, to keep members like me who are incredibly annoyed by the 2010 fiasco from going insane.

Seems like W&G's post was for the RCF Blog and the front page, which is why it won't just be trashed in the Lebron 2010 thread. Not to mention it was more about Wesley's influence on the NBA than Lebron's free agency. Plus, why even pretend he is just another member when he obviously isn't?

I like the 2010 thread. I was sick of seeing multiple new topics about that tired subject pop up every day. That topic has been beaten to death since Lebron was drafted and I haven't really payed any attention to all that talk for years. Lebron still won't be a free agent for a very long time.

Exactly, the title of W & G's post was "William Wesley : A W & G Expose' " not "The strategy". W & G's post was not misleading, it was about William Wesley and his influence in the NBA. Heath's thread title was misleading as most normal members on this site that are not delusional may have believed it was a strategy for our beloved Cavaliers to maybe win a championship, not a strategy to stop LEBRON from leaving in 2010.

Heath posed a question in the ask the staff section. Good stuff. The staff answered the questions. There was retaliation to this outcome. The staff again explained their stance.

Case closed!

If you do not like the decision, tough. It's not changing. Your voice was heard. A decision was made. End of story on this.

For the people arguing for Heath, you have to understand that Heath has been banned a few times in the past. One of his biggest blunders was coming on this forum, claiming to have insider knowledge, and being proven wrong on every single occasion he tried it. He comes back to the forum, and proceeds to piss off 3/4 of the longtime members.

Thank you mods for banning him. I miss my "Ban Heath Today" avatar.

This isn't Real Cavs Fans.... this is a forum with people that are full of themselves.

Why bother even posting this if you're not coming back for an answer?
This is Heath's method of getting attention. We are all Cavs fans, some more delusional than others.

Heath, you're an idiot for even starting this thread. Maybe it's time to grow some and stop complaining.

Heath:

W&G's "Lebron's World" post wasn't a thread like your posts are. It was a blog entry... A specific story, and highlighted on the Homepage of this site. His stories and blog posts are asked for and specifically highlighted.

Why are they highlighted and posted on the homepage? Because they matter, and due to his knowledge and credibility, he has been given the authority and been requested to do so.

You have not.

If you want treatment like W&G, talk to Glen, or Pip, or Wine & Gold, or another administrator of the site and ask to be part of the staff. I've got a sneaking suspicion you will get a resounding "no". Just a guess.

Until then, follow the rules like the rest of us. The Lebron 2010 thread is the best thing that happened to this site because before then, the Cavs Talk was all junked up with a million threads on the same topic. Now there is one central place to talk about it. Period. What's your big problem with posting there anyhow? Why are your opinions more special than anyone else's?

Since I joined RCF in 2005, I have started a total of 17 threads. Why only 17? Eventhough I have an opinion on everything, there have only been 17 instances that the topic of my opinion hadn't already been touched upon in a previous thread.

If you are a quality poster, your post will eventually be found, read, and appreciated... whether you started the thread or not.

Heath, your self-created drama is a tired act and reminiscent of another infamous poster that just didn't seem to understand when enough was enough (Wolfman). It's not everyone vs. you. And your wacky idea that this site is being run by elitist Cavalier fans is laughable. We give everyone here a voice until they stop playing by the rules. Why is it so hard to understand that?

My first girlfriend cheated on me with a guy named Heath. I beat his ass.

Heath, Since when has anyone ever listened to you?

Why should we ever?
When has anything you've typed EVER make sense?

I wish on the stats page it would show us who leads RCF in having their threads locked/moved/deleted. I'm guessing Heath and Moo would would be tops on that list.

We know Heath leads in "bannings"....followed closely by Wolfman. :chuckles:
