So Long, James Jones

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Very happy for J.Jones. I wish we would have hired him in a smaller capacity.

Maybe Lebron can get him drunk and talk him into sending us Chandler? Shit, I'd take Ronnie Price :chuckle:

Does this mean we're getting Curry?

A very accomplished career for Champ. Cannot wait to see what he does in a FO position, he has a huge basketball IQ.

He kind of sucked and this was always ignored.

But for the role he was brought, he delivered.

James Jones was never going to be a guy in rotation who was going to contribute valuable mins in playoffs. But, his leadership was essential in a dressing room filled with so much ego and turbulence. Our best player loves him. Our 3rd best player considers him the best teammate he has ever had. When things weren't so rosy between LeBron and Love in the first season, I am confident Champ played a big part in pacifying it.

You need good vets presence. Irrespective of what you as a team are trying to achieve. In an NBA Open Court episode, lot of the ex-players have talked about just how much vets influenced them when they were young. Thats why you need Champ.

He is the perfect guy for the 13/14/15 man in the roster.
