Dude has the audacity to tweet "champs".. SMH, why don't you help out the champs bud?
Vardon was blunt in explaining the reason for the Cavaliers not including Williams as part of the festivities:
“Bringing Williams to The Q never crossed the Cavs’ mind. He’s not welcome, after picking up his $2.2 million option, deciding to retire the day training camp opened, and then electing to have knee surgery without filing retirement papers or negotiating a buyout with the Cavs, forcing them to keep him on their roster and pay him (while they search for a team to take his contract off their hands).”
Such a scumbag move. He deserves the Private Pyle treatment.
I was originally happy that Mo was back to get a ring since he, too, was abandoned by LeBron.
Now, I see he is not a championship caliber player and doesn't care about being a winner. We won a title in spite of him. All he did last season was piss and moan over lack of playing time, despite the fact that he was a part of something bigger and the players in front of him were playing better. Selfish, selfish guy.
Now, pulling this shit here, it's terrible. A buyout would have been a decent move by both parties--even though the "plan" was for him to retire. But now, with him on the roster, he's holding us hostage and staring us in the face and making us dole out not only his salary, but the multipliers of the luxury tax bill. The "retirement" was a ruse and he used it to mislead the organization and keep us from waiving him by the deadline.
I'm glad he's not welcome back.
He really stained his legacy with that move /green
Never wanted this scrub back, reliving nostalgia usually leads to disappointment.
Where are all the people who wanted this guy back
I'm allergic to scrubs
a scrub is a guy who can't get no love from me.
I always loved Mo...
...fuck that dude.
Going on record
Fuck Mo Williams
maybe we should throw his stuff into a garbage bag and burn it....
Only if someone records it on a smart phone, and shares it with ESPN...
Mo Williams needed three opinions before deciding surgery.
One. The Cavs' doctor examined his knee. Said no surgery required.
Two. James Andrews, probably the best orthopedic surgeon in the country, examined his knee. Said no surgery required.
Three. David Altchek in New York--Windy says he ALWAYS recommends going under the knife--examined his knee. Said yes surgery required.
So after that third opinion, Mo bitches about the organization not caring for his health and holds it hostage. So %^&*$#@ petty.
It's even worse than that because you have to essentially trade a piece (maybe someone useful like Shump or promising like McRae) just to get Mo off the books so you can add another player. Plus had the Cavs known that Mo wasn't going to play they may have been more active in searching for a backup point guard in the summer.
Hangin on the passenger side of LeBron James' ride tryin to holla at Lue
