I agree that Callaway on returns would provide the best chance at breaking some big gainers.

And I also believe that Callaway on returns would provide the best chance at muffing/fumbling the ball more often.

He simply hasn't earned the role with his inconsistent hands. He was given one opportunity against Oakland and we were lucky to have the fumble call reversed. Count me as someone who isn't willing to put another game-changing decision in the hands of the referees.

I’d rather see duke on punt returns to be honest

Feels like Amos Jones was an experienced coach who needed a job, but the coach worth watching is Sam Shade who didn't have any coaching experience at the pro level. I'd like to see Shade retained as a DB coach with a more experienced full time special teams coach.

Which leads me to the question... Was Chris Tabor Jason LaConfirma's mole in the post-Lombardi era? :detective:

Still think it absolutely needs to be Callaway.

At least on Punts.

Get the ball in his hands as much as possible.
Not sure he will be able to catch the ball, that's the problem.

The Penalties on Punts and Kick offs are 100% on the coaching and plays they run. It is seriously embarrassing. Anytime we field a punt you can almost guarantee a penalty.

There HAS to be a better kicker than Joseph out there. I refuse to believe the experienced kickers out there are A. Unwilling to take a job in Cleveland or B. Not better than Joseph.

Cleveland isn't the easiest place to kick FGs but if you are solid, you can do it.
