Stand-up Comedy

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dave Chappelle's comeback was great.

His OJ stories were hilarious. **MUST WATCH**

Am I an idiot for thinking Joe Rogan isn't too bad?

"This ain't the first time I've had an elk penis in my mouth, Joe Rogan!"

No. Who thinks he's bad?

Dunno, but look at me in the movie thread bashing Get Out while its reviews are otherworldly positive.

One more thing: George Karlin is one of my favorite comedians ever and he's the reason I dug deeper into standup when I was in early high school. He was the first person to ever embed the concept of "sophisticated child abuse" into my mind and it changed my perception of things. Glad you brought him up.

I cannot stand jim gaffigan
I want to like him bc I can appreciate his stories. But his pitch is just so bland. I find me self slightly chuckling the hole time but no gut wrenching laughs....ever. my wife and brother in law desperately wanted tickets but I claimed it was near impossible and didn't even bother looking bc I had no desire to go.

Chappelle
Hart
Murphy
Igleasus (reminds me so much of my best friend)
Bill Burr
Lewis Black is my favorite though. His humor just speaks to me. I love his delivery bc its like he's always frustrated then occasionally pops.

I think his stand up is bad.

I think his podcast is overrated, but still good. His debate skilla are exceptional

Bill Burr is fantastic. And he's possibly even better when he's on podcasts and radio shows when he's just off the cuff than when he has prepared stuff and he can just rant and be organic. Seems like a good dude.
Bills an interesting case of intellect.

He just.. Is not all that smart, but he excels at logic and is funny as shit. I dont know how you measure that, but it is the ability to look at the whole and manipulate abstract into logic, and that certainly fits the definition.

You ever hear his take on politicians? It's the most accurate and depressing take I've ever heard.

Norm is still the best.

Not at stand up tho

We could derail this pretty easily but I need to make sure we are referring to the same thing: All men are created equal but Indians, women and n can't vote, and Clinton was full of shit but at least he was honest about it?

While you're correct in saying it's depressing as fuck, at least he was refreshing and empowering in his presentation of truths. To me he'll always be a pioneer when it comes to criticizing religion.

Both of Chappelles specials were good but the thing about Key and Peele steeling his show kind of rubbed me wrong. Like hes not the first person to do a sketch show. I don't really get why he would throw them under the bus. Is he jealous of their success?
