Texans' Record Watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Somewhere in these threads, I threw out there that there hasn't been a WR as good as Hopkins on the Browns in 30 years. Just having a guy like him on this roster would cure lots of evils.

Braylon in 2007 was solid, showed promise and I was convinced he'd be OUR Fitzgerald or Megatron.

Josh Gordon also could have been in that category. But...yeah.

You guys keep using the word “retards” to describe the Browns. And frankly, it’s offensive.

Not because the word retard bothers me. I couldn’t give a fuck less. But because retarded people generally try really hard at stuff and a lot of the Browns...really don’t. Least not today when I finally wasted my time watching.

While you were watching the game, you know, the one that the Browns lost 31-7 at home, I took the kids berry and apple picking, made a fire in the fire pit, did some yard work, grilled for my kids and mother-in-law, and made s'mores.

I don't know why you would do that to yourself. Maybe listen to a book on tape next time if you must watch the game. :chuckle:

I won’t make the same mistake again, BeLEEEEve me.

Edit: You can grill for your mother in law without stressing about it? She must take her steaks medium or below...

Can we just please slow our roll?

We have the YOUNGEST roster in the entire NFL, and people are acting like it's the end of the world that we're 0-4.

News Flash: We were NEVER going to be that great with a team so young. Next off-season I believe a major focus will be on adding some veterans who can significantly improve our depth and competition level through free agency.

Like Zeitler and Tretter? Who with a healthy Bitonio were supposed to beef up our offensive line such that we could just hand the ball off all day and make things easier on our rookie quarterback?

Or are you thinking veteran free agent talent more along the lines of Kenny Britt?

Watson has had two great games against bottom 5 defenses, I'd hold off on polishing those franchise qb labels for now.

He also has one of the best (and the highest paid) receivers in the NFL to throw to. Now, having a good receiver isn't a guarantee of success (see: Osweiler making Hopkins look pedestrian last year), but it sure as hell doesn't hurt.

Well we do have the possibility of moving picks and having 4 first rounders if we wanted to plus 50-60 if not more money to spend in free agency. Britt if he doesnt turn his game around will be cut by this regime. I think we may also acquire a WR in the trade deadline as well. We aren't going to sit around and actually do nothing next off season.

JJ Watt just got hurt.

Helped off the field.

One saving grace on Sundays......rooting for the Texans to lose. Mercilus and Watt injured on the first drive. Just knew it was only a matter of time before Watt gets injured.

Watson has thrown two balls that should've been picked tonight.

Make that five passes that should've been picked.

Color me shocked that he's not looking like a franchise qb vs a decent to above average defense.

JJ Watt has a fractured tibial plateau.

He will be out for a while if not the rest of the season.

Treatment calls for no weight-bearing on the knee for at least three months via a brace.
