The 2016 Tank Thread

Wow!

So we have signed Ray Horton to 2 contracts for a total of 6 years. He will have worked 2 of those 6 years. That's amazing but that is also the Browns.

An actual tree stump is a better defensive coordinator than Horton.

At least the tree stump might be less predictable.

Situation : 3rd & literally any amount at any point in the game
Horton: better send 6

Yes please on Williams or Wade!

Love it. Both are great. Wade is one of the best ever. But I don't see him coming here.

Would love to see Greg Williams bring in the 4-3. Our roster is built for it. Idgaf about that bounty gate BS that was 6 years ago and the defense went to crap after he left. He's been a great DC for a long time. We need as much experience on the defensive side as possible.

Sounds like others are gone too. I bet Pep is a goner.

Id like to go on record and say Im not a fan of this decision unless they get Phillips.

The lack of continuity is not good and Williams, although having been good in the past, couldnt get it done with the Rams despite having great talent.

IDK I'd have to go back and look at the numbers, but I've thought of the Rams D as pretty damn good in recent years.

They have been okay, which is criminal since they did have Aaron Donald, Brockers, Robert Quinn, Janoris Jenkins, and others who are very good players.

Upon looking at Marvez's initial tweet again, it reads like they reached out to Phillips, were told no and then set their sights on Williams.

Huh, hell of a guess.

I dont really care for Pep, thought he was an average nfl coach at best.

He and Mike Brown should get together on Sundays for tea.
