Dream Team 4: Golden State Warriors

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I cant believe i am saying this but i agree with Skip Bayless on something... he said yesterday that he gives the Cavs a great shot.. and part of it is because GSW has not been tested.. he said the last time they really where tested was the Christmas game.

Figures Skip would screw up even a layup like that....

GSW was tested Game 1 versus the Spurs, and was failing miserably. Then Zaza took out Kawhi's ankle, and everything turned around. But the post-Kawhi turnaround doesn't erase what the Spurs showed before he went down. Those who want to dismiss that as some kind of fluke should consider that the Spurs tore them apart the exact same way in March.

GSW is an extremely good team, but they have their weaknesses.

Retarded Media acts like the Larriors swept a fully healthy Spurs team lmao

If Kawhi stays healthy they for sure destroy the Warriors in game 1, and win the series in 5-6 games, GS had zero answers for an athletic 3 that attacked them, and we have the best one, of all time.

Congratulation, the Larriors beat a team that had the bum Lamarcus Aldrige as their go to guy while their MVP candidate (one of the best two way player of alltime) and starting PG were out, just imagine that their offense was centered around a player who posts up and takes long two's against Green, and some games were still pretty close.

I'm not impressed with them at all, all I needed to see was the sample of the Spurs with their best player on the floor and what they did to the Larriors, absolutely demolished them, nice you swept Patty Mills and Johnathan Simmons lol, Get ready to get fucked when you see LeBron and Kyrie.

True. GSW looked really helpless against Kahwi Spurs.. The Combination of Kahwi leading a really well playing SA Defense and their Offense while playing under more control than GSW. Especially KD looked horrible when he had to defend Kahwi.. he had nearly nothing left for Offense. They spun it as "It was a wake up call for us" .. what wake up call? If Kahwi finished the Game and the Series and GSW still won they could have said "Ok it woke them up and made them work on their weaknesses" .. but that way they simply dodged a Bullet.. another one..

Skip analyzed correctly though that the Spurs had to "out basketball GSW" wich is very.. very tough to do.. yet a healthy Spurs Team could do... But we actually are the Physicall, Agressive Team that can Physically Intimidate them and gain a huge advantage.

If one of the Cavs get injured in the finals, I think the NBA should take action on the Warriors. If one of the Warriors (or hopefully all of them) get injured, no action is necessary.

Thats why i am continuously baffled by the narrative that this is the Perfect Team and they are so good they could go 16-0 ..

People dont look into it long enough to realise:

POR: Missed a Dynamic two way Center that really could have given them trouble in Nurkic
Utah: Missed Hill who looked like an All Star this Season.. and Gobert and Hayward where banged up..and another key Player in Burks was out(or was it Hood?)
SA: Missed not only their best Player in Kahwi but also their Extended Coach and PG Tony Parker.. who while old can still create offense..

GSW basically won against POR and Utah by the Amount the Missing Player would have Scored..(even less against Utah... 17-19 PPG from Hill could have made it a Series)
And against SA you can easilly see how 25-30 from Kahwi and 12-15 from Parker would totally have made SA win each Game..

Considering how much the Teams where missing a 16 Point Margin is actually not that impressive.. If you win by 16 and the Opposing Team is missing 35-40 Points it does not take a math Genious to figure out that the Spurs could have won rather easilly..

I looked into Game 1 a bit more closely:

-The Spurs where attacking the rim agressively.. Leonard and Manu especially where either finishing or drawing fouls.
-The only one who was good for GSW was Curry.. by the Time Kahwi went out he had 25. KD only 14 though.. he had 20 after Kahwi was out... Green and Curry where turnover machines... Zaza was nearly unplayable against LMA and Gasol..
-They had no answer Through halfway of the 3rd Quarter.. this was no fluke.. they didnt simply had to turn it on.. they where outplayed fair and square by a more diciplined, more in control, more cohesive Team. Led by a SF that can Drive,Shoot,Pass and Defend.

I really would not be suprised if Game 1 of the Finals would look like this. When we bring our Physicallity combined with our absurd Offense they might very well look stupid.

And dont get me wrong i am not saying this because i think we are that Great.. no .. we have holes but our guys are good at covering for each other.. I say this because i really am not impressed with GSW..

They still are the same frontrunners who excel when the Sun is shining bright..
I am absolutely certian that once we punch them straight in the face and especially when Lebron puts every Warrior and every Fan on notice who the real Big Dog in the House is.. that they will again look really "meh" .. they still will be extremly dangerous of Course.. too much Talent to not be.. but they might very well look very beatable very early IF we bring our A Game and Balls.

We better not lose to a Mike Brown led team.

I think the Mike Brown thing is over rated tbh

Steve Kerr did a tremendous job instilling the system and taking the warriors to where they are, but I think a fucking Galapagos turtle could coach that team to a 12-0 west record now.

They've got the system down. Mike brown really doesn't have to do much but stay out of the way. Which is where I think the Galapagos turtle may be more suited

Anyone else feel that, for all the wins in the West, that the West is really, really soft?

I'd say - the Spurs and the Thunder. They're both physical teams but they didn't have the star power to do it this year

you've got to be careful when you listen to skip (best to avoid him entirely). he lays traps. skip will never, ever, say a lebron team has no shot, or that lebron is the underdog, because his entire persona is based on hating lebron. if he says lebron is the underdog or has no shot, how can he hate on lebron if he loses?

he will never give lebron the benefit of the doubt. not sure what he said when lebron's right hand man was delly, i don't listen to him, but it wouldn't surprise me if he still didn't give him a pass

I mean, it's been a two horse race regardless, and we've been tested more than GS.
