Dream Team 4: Golden State Warriors

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If the Pelicans can get themselves a solid PG and a scoring wing, they could develop into a major force (next year)

I hope they do, I like to see smaller market teams do well.

I think people are underestimating how much foul trouble this has the potential to put GSW and particularly draymond in

At minimum , I think it will see Draymond rack up a couple of first round technicals. How many techs in the playoffs before you get suspended?

From last year, I recall it was 4 total "points" = sit one game
Flagrant 1 = 1 point
Flagrant 2 = 2 points

And it's cumulative from prior rounds.

I'm excited to see it but I have a feeling I already know how it plays out.

Golden State doesn't adjust. They continue to play small, and the refs swallow their whistles and allow GS's smaller defenders to get away with far too much contact when guarding Davis and Cousins.

Everyone talks about Draymond's incredible ability to guard centers...it sure helps that it seems he's allowed to maul them in compensation for his size disadvantage.

Exactly.

If you want a real example of a 6'8 forward with incredible ability to guard centers on the block. Watch when LeBron gets posted up by a Center in the 4th quarter.
The Center starts his post-up, dribbles, and tries to back LeBron down. But LeBron literally just can't be moved. It's amazing. Towns was like "WTF IS GOING ON HERE" when he tried to post LBJ up last week. It was marvelous.

Draymond is strong too, but guys usually are able to move him/back him down a little bit. But he's always draped ALL OVER their back, literally smothering them(not in a "good tight defense" way, like he's physically climbing on their backs like a monkey)...and when they make their move to shoot, he is swinging his arms and kicking and making all kinds of contact while he's literally on top of the offensive player. Then the player misses. Looks at the ref like, "WTF DUDE?"No whistle.

"That's elite defense by Draymond Green"- *insert shitty announcer here*

I feel like everyone forgets Jrue Holiday is on the team and playing like his old self.

They need shooting badly. Getting Assfingers as a throw-in could be such a sneaky good thing for them.

draymond green believes that the opponent's entire body is part of the ball.

My first time coming in this thread all season but I had to come in here to post this. I swear on everything with like 1 minute left in the first quarter of this Warriors vs Clippers game while Draymond, Felton, and Blake were on the floor fighting floor a loose ball Draymond tried to intentionally kick Blake.

This was the most obvious one yet. Please someone find that video.

I knew I wasn't fuckin trippin. How can anybody defend this dude after this? And before the kick he threw an elbow at Felton on the floor.

At least Draymond is getting killed on twitter on whatever outlet posted their version of the video.

Also, I'm no fan of Pierce, but Draymond is just the ultimate dickhead.

Given his history and given that he was already horizontal on his back(not falling back) how can the league not see, acknowledge, and act upon that as an intentional and dangerous non basketball play? It boggles the mind.

That should be a fine, one game suspension, and public call out from the league.
