Not this season. Game 1 will be Bears - Packers in honor of the NFL's 100 season.

A better Game 1 would have been Akron Pros (1st NFL Champion) vs. Canton Bulldogs, but those two teams aren't available that night.

Right. As soon as the 900 million dollar renovations are complete I would expect the draft to be held in Northeast Ohio within the next year or two.

Well, the draft is being held this year in Nashville. And Cleveland did a good job hosting the GOP convention in 2016, which attracted shitloads of people and media.

I went once and it was EXTREMELY boring.

However, that was in the days of 6 hour 1st rounds. Might be better under the new format.
