Baker Mayfield: Fire The Cannons

If there's anything that could keep Baker from being in the upper echelon of QBs next season, it's the interceptions. He at times gets a little ahead of himself and can be a bit of a gunslinger. It would be a hell of a progression for him to throw less than 10 INTs next season. If that happens, this team is going to be really special.
 
With OBJ in the fold, it’s only natural we see more interceptable passes.

This offense is going to take shots and they’re going to be wide open. Law of averages would say more turnovers happen, I also am not sure I care.

So long as they don’t become too much of a constraint on the higher octane offensive production as a whole, cool.
 
Go baker but It would be nice to see some kind of response from obj though...

Not sure how responding to a hack journalist on Twitter is impressive. If baker and the browns dominate and are the number one offense in the nfl, he will be outed as a hack journalist.

I can't believe I am saying this: "if you were the Brown's GM is there really another QB u would trade Baker for besides Mahone/Wilson? "

Brady, Brees, Ben, Rivers--to old
Luck, Cam, Watson, Wentz, Garopollo--the injuries scare me
Ryan, Goff, Darnold-just don't seem as good

All 12 have the talent to have better games/seasons then Baker but for the next 10 years I like Baker.
 
Factoring in everything? There isn’t anyone I’d take besides Mahomes. Goff I’d consider, but I don’t know.
 
I’m not as hot for Goff to be honest. I know he’s good, but I struggle with considering him elite or close to it; need to see a little more before I think he’s not a byproduct of an outstanding system.

I didn’t want Mayfield but I also jumped on board the day after we took him. Fucking glad Dorsey had the balls to do it.
