The Facelift

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Glen, if you could take care of this one small glitch for me. It not a bad idea but I just think you are taking it a bit too far..

:chuckles:

Every morning I conduct an 8 minute ab routine that keeps the pack toned.. I''ve already got the perfect abs, so all I have to do is maintain..What can I say...:neener:

I definitely notice a difference in how fast it is working...

Before it was slow and would sometimes freeze up for me...

Now it's moving really fast..

I have to say, it also does have a much cleaner look to it..

Thanks for all the handwork Glen...

BTW, I got my issue taken care of in terms of how I'm viewing the site...

In short, I'm an idiot...

Love the new look, Glenard...

Loving the upgrade, well done and thanks to everyone involved

This may have been mentioned already, but the Thanks feature was nicer on the old board. If you repped someone, it went to that next screen, then brought you back to where you were in the thread. That's what made the thanks feature nice - it was just a pop-up, not taking you away from the screen - it was nice to hit the back button (to see what other threads have new posts - the way I come here is click on New Posts, then go to each thread, hitting back to that main new post screen).

Now, when you hit thanks, it acts like the old rep system. Then it takes to the original post in the thread - not where you thanked someone.

Probably just a tweak - just wanted you to be aware.

I can't find any flaws in the face lift, I think I like every little detail from the colors, to the designs in the top left, to the posting style. I also really like the way that you can visit profiles, see who has visited yours and write personal messages on peoples "walls". I'm really satisfied it in, it looks excellent. Thanks for the time, effort and money that you put into the site!!

Does rep notification (and PM notification) in the upper right part of the screen still work?

I haven't noticed it since the "The Facelift" (tm) but apparently I've gotten some thanks.

Its now located on the upper left of the screen Jon. In the Members Area Box.

it also seems the little box next to the date and time stamp for each post is no longer different (orange before) than before so when looking through a thread you dont know where you left off.

I'm loving all these new features I keep finding.

Under firefox 2.0.0.16, "members" is just a button that brings up the user list. The only buttons with popup menus seem to be Quick Links and Search.

Oh... I see. You meant on the main page. I see it there. I just always click straight through to the Cavs forum bypassing the main page, so never saw it.

The 'Go' button for search floats, when the window is small. (I'm at work what do you expect)

Looking at that screen shot your screen resolution is set very small. This design breaks or "floats" elements if your not viewing at 1024x768 or greater. Nothing much we can do to change that. However I'm sure a static design will be offered in the future.

Same thing when you look at private messages, unless you max the screen, nothing shows up.
