It would be nice if this ended the era, but like their occasional injuries, this will prove to be nothing.
Let's all remember this fake adversity at the end of the year so we can all be amazed when they win another ring.
KD might be better one on one. He might have an argument for best one on one player ever considering his size and shooting. But I agree Curry is the better player. Better player is quantified by the impact on the team. Which the impact on a team can often be unquantifiable.KD not playing so well when he has to carry them by himself.
I go back and forth but man..I ultimately think Curry is the better player.
But I get why people lean KD. He had the ability to make a greater defensive impact due to his size and generally he does.
Nobody is disputing that GS is going to win the championship again, the talk is about KD leaving after the season which will end the Warriors dynasty as we know it, nobody is saying that this “adversity” is going to effect them this year at all.
It’s probably going to be easier for them this year than it was last year, can’t see any team taking them to 7 again especially with Chris Paul demanding the max and them losing Ariza and Luc Mbah Amoute as a result of that.
He's too thin -skinned, insecure and not a leader in any sense or form. His personality is trash as well, as he always seems to be in a bad mood and doesn't have any sense of humor. Not a guy that guys gravitate towards.KD might be better one on one. He might have an argument for best one on one player ever considering his size and shooting. But I agree Curry is the better player. Better player is quantified by the impact on the team. Which the impact on a team can often be unquantifiable.
KD is a great player and mismatch nightmare. But he often doesn't produce or impact a team like he should. And players that are skilled but kill the flow of the game for their own production often comes at the cost of the team instead of it's betterment, like Melo. Unless it's a bad team where going iso is actually for the better more times than not.
KD's legacy is ruined to me despite how many rings he will or won't win. It doesn't matter because he has proven to be the beta everywhere he goes. And he is a great player, but his rings mean nothing. He can't carry a team like many of the greats have had to do even if a ring is not the expectation. Even when LeBron was on good teams, the pressure was still all on him as the guy to deliver. KD doesn't even have that in GS. And Westbrook took the blame in OKC. It's bizarre.
They had to have been heckling him for a long time for him to say that, in his defense. He's still an insecure bitch tho
