Do you get clubs fitted? Or do you just buy standard lengths?

Standard lengths and lies. I have standard in my current irons so just went with that. Figure I can adjust them if I want later. The one time I went to get fitted I was 1 degree off standard lie and I feel like that’s probably within a reasonable variation in a swing.

Also my cousin knows a Mizuno rep so I got a pretty killer deal on them. I didn’t really want to go have someone fit me and then not buy from them.

Finally picked myself up a good Taylormade Burner driver.

Had a broken hand last summer so I couldn't play at all and now I can't interlock my pinkie finger anymore. Have shifted to a straight overlap and I'm absolutely killing the ball now.

Wow, interesting but just goes to show everyone kind of has their own way of playing that works best for them.

Speaking of drivers, if anyone is trying to get started golfing and is looking for a good used driver, check out Titleist 983k on eBay. Great driver still today and costs about $40. Nike copied it for Tiger back in the mid-2000s and it’s what he used at his peak.
